What did you think of the playable bosses in PSX MKT? And of the 4, who is the best?

I don't see how Kintaro can be the best. All you have to do to avoid the teleport stomp is walk forward (or backward if you are noob). That and everytime the stomp misses he looks away then looks towards you. Its a recovery time that leaves him open to attack.

Goro vs kintaro, it shouldn't be that hard. Goro has his easy lariat inf. but his grab wont work while kintaros will, and kintaro's kick is supreme compared to goro's...
Back on topic, I played TM2 a lot but nowhere near as much as Tm3. Things like major ram damage ruined it. My only memory from 2 was getting to dark tooth w/ every person & writing all the codes on one sheet. I let a friend borrow it and a week later he said "I lost it"...
Never have 3 words hurt so much.

It's hard to ram faster cars with someone like Axel so you have to freeze them and it's still hard to freeze them.
Freezing get's easier in every new game. All projectiles seem to get more homing as the series continues. Handling is easier too. I just never really got used to the TM2 style.
My favorite improvemenet in tm3 is how you can run over your own TNT. This is very handy for me because I'm a guy who likes to abouse the teleports and drop TNT down right where it takes you. In TM3 you could never screw yourself over doing this.

I tried TM3. But they took out so many things about TM1 and 2 that were fun. 989 officially ruined it for me.

TM3 is the MK4 of Twisted Metal. They took an existing engine and ruined it by changing things that were good. I don't remember the handling for the cars in TM3, but TM2 had very reasonable handling for the cars in respect to their design. Minion was the only unrealistic one. I'd use Sweet Tooth more if it weren't for the clown head in the way.

I just got MKT just last week and played for the first time in 6 years. Playing as the bosses SUCKS!!!!!!!! I realize now that I am happy with Human Smoke and Classic Jax.

Plus, Jax is just awesome. Can't beat the head smash fatality, though I with the opponent would keel over a la MKII.

Exactly, TM3 and 4 suck ass compared to 2. Black is awesome too, but in a different 'next gen' way.
I always hated sweet tooth, cus for a hidden kind-of-boss character he was pretty crappy, slow and hard to manouver. Helluva damaging special though, and still better than grasshopper and slam...and maybe hammerhead too.

I only recently found MK2 Raiden a lot of fun, the reverse lighting was a really cool addition, great for starting combos.
Curious question of the day: what did everyone think of MK2 Kung Lao's torpedo?

Well, they had to give him a move because everybody got a new move. Mk2 Raiden got reverse lightning, baraka got the blade spin, Jax got air projectile, MK1 Raiden got air superman, MK1 Kano got blade spin. So, they gave MK2KL the superman. Overall I don't think it adds much because he is a viciously powerful character without it. He does easy fast combos that lead to easy repetitive juggles AND does MK2 level damage.

What's with MK3 Kung Lao's double teleport? IMO, it's useless.
I like how they added a red version of every shadow move, and Nightwolf's axe, and arrow. MKII nostalgia, and then some.
Anyways, I mainly use Baraka. Out of the bosses I use Kahn, and Kintaro.
If I'm really frustrated, I use their throw infinites. Well, I think they're infs.
I really hope they make another TM game, and finally bring back the dashboard view. I'd always play TM with the dashboard view. It was so cool.

I don't like Kahn because his win pose is too long.
