^Well, Deception focused more on the B-list MK characters, the only A-List characters that are playable from the start are Scorpion and Sub-Zero and IIRC, the only A-List characters who are unlockable are Liu Kang and Raiden (and in different forms to boot!)

if that would had to happen, I could have been thinking about probably smashing the disc. I mean, if Shao Kahn, Shinnok, hell even Shang Tsung and Quan Chi combined can't take down Raiden, than what's the point of the opposition trying?

Imo killing off the protagonists was the best MK story twist ever. Not only it reminded me of the clouded fact that actually nothing is granted or safe in MK (thank you so much for disposing the turkey boy for at least one game)
not to mention, ..sigh...that the evils were actually shown powerfulan their actions had consequences.

i hate it how everyone acts without consequences and despite Krapquest, Shujinko was or is the only char. conciuous of his deeds. other than that, I value highly MKD's storylines start, for Jinko is much of a better concept than the personlaity impaired earthrealmers (who'ssupposed "persona-lity" comes 90% from fan speculation).

Raiden killing the DA? If I were in controll of it, both sorcerrs would slaugh-ter him and vice versa. Thank the allmighty Raiden succumbed at the end.
