whats ur fav. MK storyline era?

I kno there have beena bunch of which is ur fav. MK game...
this is a tad different, what I mean, is story wise AND character, which interal between games was better.
As an example, my fav. one is between MK1 and MK2... basically the one depicted in Shaolin Monks... I love the perfect amount of ninjas, the whole new adventure of going into outworld, all new Outwold enemies (and some allies) and so forth

others are Mk2 to MK3... this includes MK3bios and MK2 endings... like Kitan switching sides, Mileena is not human, scorpion switches sides, the death of cage, the OW invasion, resurrection of Sindel, stealing of all souls

is it clear or is this a rambling mess? Either way, please give ur opinion

I prefer the time of Mortal Kombat 1 and 2. I have a thing for prefer originals and 1st sequels... Plus when MK3 was released and so many of the original actors were replaced and the speed was cracked up, it didn't really feel like Mortal Kombat anymore. The characters and plotlines were a lot better then as well - Kano and Kitana weren't traitors at this point (meaning Kano fought for Earth and Kitana appeared to serve Outworld - Edenia wasn't a factor at this point), Scorpion had a CLEAR purpose to his exsistance, The Lin Kuei was united and not screwing around with robots and I loved Raiden's Characterization in MK1 (to bad it took him 12 years to finally go back to it!)

I really liked MK3 for the storyline. Something about the fact that the earth had been overtaken, and there was only the chosen ones to stop total domination. The apocalyptic aura about the stages, especialy the Street, Bridge, Rooftop etc. It seemed a little like fighting for a lost cause.

MK Mythologies probably had the best storyline though, really compelling and cool. The book of desinty, shaolin temple, temple of Elements, elemental guards and their cool stages, seeing a new Netherealm (so different to Scorpion's Lair in UMK3), and Shinnok's fortress all were great additions to the MK mythos.

So yeah, I'd say for the arcade MK3 had the best story, for overall - MKM/SZ defintely takes it.

MK1's is gripping too, I just feel it's better portrayed in the 1st movie.

I liked the MK1 and MK2 storyline eras,because it was all about Outworld and ancient China,unlike MK3's modern cities.I mean,you got Shao Kahn trying to get the Earth Warriors into a trap so he can kill them,but then in MK1 you have the tournament.

I also did like the Deadly Alliance storyline era too though,because i liked how all of earth's warriors were pissed off because of Kangs death.And all of Kahn's servants had no master now.
