I wonder if the creators of the game did that intentionally (smokes "borrowed" moves list)
or did they just run out of ideas...

About Me
FB: Trans4Materia Card Game I invented "Circling Vulture, Laughing Hyena"
True story, it happened to a friend of a friend of mine... EVERYBODY!

- The Harpoon was for his Spear(Scorpion's) when he was Human.
- The Teleport Uppercut was probably intended to replace Scorpion's Teleport Punch, which people assumed Human Smoke had.
- The Invisibility was probably added because they couldn't turn him into mist on the floor or a cloud of smoke. IMO that's what they intended for him.
I don't know who started the whole "Yoink"(stolen from Simpsons) thing for Smoke, but it's usually pretty funny. It's just an exaggeration of his apparent move theft. The same way Sub-Zero always makes ice cream in people's comics.
What I don't get is how the Reptile puns got started.

The puns definitely came from ]{0MBAT
Its probably because Smoke ALWAYS steals or "Borrows" other characters
moves. Here we go from the top!
MK2:Scorpions spear (Teleport punch?"
MK3:Scorpions spear,Sektors uppercut,Reptiles invisibility,and Scorpions
air-throw.
UMK3:Classic Smoke stole ALL of Scorpions moves, combos, looks, etc.
MKD:Sektors uppercut,Reptiles invisibilty.
The joke is that Smoke always steals from other sources.Go read Bezous
Ninjaz comic and read Smokes comment.
