Where in Hell is the original Sub-Zero?

Between MK1 and MK:Deception whatever happened to the original Sub-Zerp's soul? If I had to guess he went to Hell. But if Scorpion is a hell spawn how come you never hear about him fighting against Sub-Zero in hell? Whatever happened to Sub-Zero's soul after Scorpion found out who murdered his family. It seems Scorpion since then has only been fighting Drahmin, Moloch, and Quan-Chi. Where was the original Subby during all of this?

Well look at it this way: We know that prior to MKDA Scorpion, Quan Chi, Moloch and Drahmin were all trapped in the fifth plane of the Netherealm. Since it's the fifth plane, there have to be at least four more planes. Maybe Sub Zero is in one of those.

I have always been thinking this to. Perhaps subzero is in one of the planes of the neatherealm. I would love him to return, having some sort of an evil ninja zombie-ish look. It would be bad ass.

Perhaps hes in a purgatory kind of place. I mean lets think about this, at the end of Mortal Kombat Mythologies, Rayden tells sub zero that because of his reckless past, he may be cast into the netherrealm when he dies, but because of his service to the thunder god, he has a chance to change his fate.

Maybe, just maybe, after Scorpion killed him, Rayden cut him some slack and let his soul rest in peace?

Figure Shinnok ruled the Nethrealm when Sub-Zero died. And he was probably pissed that Sub-Zero had stolen the Amulet back. So when Sub-Zero died, Shinnok probably put his soul in a very nasty place within the Netherealm.

He's...he's...IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Scorpion was made into a specter, Sub-Zero never was, that's why he can't escape hell. As a specter, Scorpion can pass between the realms. Sub-Zero is a tortured soul.

Well he seem to have returned in MKD ... if you look his face doesn't wear any scar. As we all know it was the difference between him and his brother. So I guess that he reappeared in MKD...

They never really explained what happened to him and in Mortal Kombat death is never the end.

look at Scorpion and Johnny Cage.

The Sub-Zero in the Decpetion pics looks alot younger and is scarless.

It could be the same Sub-Zero from DA, it could be the original Sub-Zero who found away back to life when the Dragon King was awakened(you know his power some how allowed him a chance to escape the Nether Realm if he is dead).

Or it could be a new Sub-Zero.

But most likely its the Sub-Zero from DA and he some how got his youth back and scar healed.

i always get this image of the original sub in a cage in hell screaming in agony because of the flames...its a sad image. no mk character is missing him, his brother honored him in mk4..but that was more like ninja code rather than brotherly love.

now scorpion is off being "hero" man and his brother is doing his own thing.

it'd be great to have quan chi walk into a cell (not telling us its sub-zero's) and be all like "hello, the world has changed much since your last day alive, your enemy still walks the Earth while you rot in this cage. I can make u stronger more powerful. Only if you play on my terms and my terms alone. I offer you new life...Sub-Zero"

and then sub-zero screams out and comes back and does cool shit and kills his brother.

Considering dieing is basically impossible in the MK world, I really think the fighters should get insanely powerful. I think the original sub zero should come back as an elemental, like an ice spirit or something, and have tremendous power. Then pick a few other MK chars and make them all into uber powerful beings and have a Mortal Kombat with all insanely powerful characters.

Scorpion could be a fire elemental being, Raiden and electricity. Maybe have Sindel be wind or something since she was the flyer and the screamer. Smoke could be just this humanoid form filled with smoke. Just something very surreal and uberpowered.

why would he kill his brother?

quite simple. 1st subby is the original lin kuie soldier, he loved the clan, he went through hell and earth becasue the clan told him to. i bet he owuld have been to first automated if he could.

but his brother betrayed the clan and then reformed it as a force of good.

so its kinda like his brother kills the lin kuie and then fucked it in the ass.

and he may not see him as his brother, just a clan member that pissed him off.

scorpion came back because he had unfinshed bussiness with his familys killer. sub has no unfinshed bussiness and has no reason to come back and sub is dead cause scorpion returned the favor by ripping off his head

I always liked to think of Classic Sub-Zero as in Purgatory. Purgatory is where souls await judgement, and interance into Heaven or Hell.

It is hard to judge Sub-Zero because he did some pretty cruel things, but he did do the heroic deed of taking back the Amulet. Maybe Rayden owes him one.

If he gets into Heaven, he could probably get Rayden to bring back; if he is sent to the Neatherealm, he will probably become a spectre seeking revenge against Scorpion, Shang Tsung, and anyone else he feels like taking vengence upon.

We will see him again.

The original Sub-Zero was the one who got killed in the first MK game. The current Sub-Zero is the younger brother of the original. And yes the younger Sub-Zero has the scar.

so the one with the scar is the young one right and the one with the mask is the old one


my next question is which one is the bad subzero? who killed the original sub zero in MK1? and which sub zero is the one in MK:DA

In some versions of Ultimate MK3 they had Sub-Zero and a "classic" Sub-Zero. We never found out who the "classic" one was, but it's been retconned that he never existed, so don't worry about it.

Technically, the original Sub-Zero is the "bad" one. Although he really wasn't good or evil. He was a mercenary, it all depened on who payed him.
Scorpion killed the original Sub-Zero in MK1.

The current Sub-Zero (scarred, younger, good guy) is in MK:DA. He's neen in every MK since MK2.

cause in MK2 Noob Saibot has Sub-Zero's Fighting Stance. So Sub-Zero could be Noob Saibot. I'll prolly get flamed for this, but who cares, at least i didnt say Reiko is Kahn.........lol
