Shang tsung MK2 no question in my view you can do every fatatily in the game with him and do variations. Example right when the screen says danger for your opponent you can transform into sub-zero. Then you do his deep freeze 3 times then pick a fatality soul steal, or morph into scorpion and do a toasty or any fatality.

My favourite is MK2, my favourite character was Smoke, he had all the moves of scorpion and was faster as well

Classic Sub-Zero wasn't in MK2, he was only in MK1 and MK Mythologies (not forgetting his cameo appearences as a palette swap in UMK3+MKT), every other MK game that featured a Sub-Zero was the younger Sub-Zero.
