I simply don't understand why people hate Hotaru? He was the first samurai concept introduced to the series, and he's outfits are in place too!

Love: Kitana, Mileena, Reptile, Sindel, Kung Lao, Ermac (not crappy palatte swap MKT Ermac; the good one in MK:D), and all of the Shokans (Everyone else seems to hate Sheeva and Kintaro, but I thought they were cool)

Hate: Tanya (more than all of the others combined), Stryker (people really need to stop trying to convince me that he is a good character...he's fucking lame), Sektor, Cyrax, Robot Smoke (the whole robot thing was weak), Johnny Cage (see Stryker), and all of the worthless fringe characters that mean nothing to the series like Meat, Mokap, Chameleon, etc. (with the exception of Blaze...he was okay).

The rest I'm fairly indifferent to. I don't hate Jax and Sonya, but I hope they never make it into another MK game (unlikely, I know, since Boon seems to have some affection for them).

Did anyone ever wonder why Nitara, a supposed vampire, can fight in daylight at wu shu academy without bursting into flames, and also drink the oil from a robot and green stuff from a reptile? I hate this character because she is not a vampire she is a fraud with stick on wings. I hope she is never seen again...

It is said that the more powerful vampires do not fear sunlight and are immune to it. But then there are many vampire legends. Also know that she was from a vampire realm. So we cannot say she's supposed to be like the vampires we know of from Earth realm. Proof of her difference are the wings she has. Her race are then probably immune to sunlight.
