Stryker will cap Frost

I think they both deserve a second chance in the MK world...

Anyways, to answer your question, I used to like Frost better, but now that I think of it, Stryker is a more original character. Most people dislike Stryker because he's human, but if fighters like Sonya and Jax can be in, why not Stryker?

I posted some ideas I had about Stryker in another thread...




1. Stryker should have a totally revamped look. He should look less like a New York cop and more like an elite S.W.A.T. team member. He should look kinda like "Bayman" in his alternate from DOA3 except Stryker should look less muscular and have some sort of black mask covering his face. He should have an assault rifle strapped on his back, some gernades strapped to his right thigh and a taser gun strapped to his left thigh.He should also have some combat boots.

2. Stryker needs a new move set...

First move: Strykers first move should be like Jax's gun move in MK:DA except Stryker should hold and point the gun more proffessionally.

Second move: Stryker should be able to pull out his taser gun and electrocute his opponent like in his MK3 fatality execpt it wouldn't kill his opponent. It should work kinda like Scorpion's spear except instead of pulling in his opponent it would electrocute and leave them stunned for a while. It would also have a long range.

Third move: Strykers third move should be like his original bomb throw in MK3 except it would have two versions. The first would be the traditional explosion. The second would be a smoke bomb. Instead of hurting the opponent, the smoke bomb would burst into a puff of smoke and cause the opponent to cough and stumble around, kinda like Noob-Smoke's "stinky cloud" move in MK:Deception. In order for the opponent to be able to tell the bombs apart, the regualr explosion bomb will glow red when it's in the air, while the smoke bomb will glow green while it's in the air.

Stryker is way cooler. Give him a Chris Refield Makeover and infuse him with some new special moves and he would rock. give him the police baton as a weapon and Sambo and Karate and he would wup ass. Frost sucked so glad that she froze her self to death. what a deuche wagon.

Stryker is way better.. all he needs is a new hair cut.. and to have black hair.. then he'll be perfect..

Mabye he should change the title to "Who should be in MK7, Frost or Stryker?", then mabye the mods won't close it...

Unique dosn't always mean better. Sometimes you have to go with what works and has proven is worth.

As far as things go I love Frost. Probably my favorite MK character. She may be suby like but I'm not going to disqualify someone based on some artsy notion that something that is like something else can't be good. If you had never seen MK and stuck Frost and Sub-Zero next to eachother. Who would you like better then having no clue who came first?

If you hate something just because of an ideal, you don't really hate that something. Just the ideal. Its like hating Punk rock because they have stupid hair, or liking only jazz music because you think it and your soul patch make you look cool. Frost being unoriginal has nothing to do with her merit as a character. Just as many people will tell you that Stryker having an original name never made him cool.

I agree. Although Frost wasn't unique in the sense that she had Sub-Zero's special moves, I still think she is a far superior character to the unique doofus that was Stryker. Reiko, Rain, Noob Saibot, Smoke...the list goes on; I prefer all of them over Stryker.
I'd rather have a good recycled idea than a bad original one.

Frost! Stryker was horrible! Yeah, Frost was a female sub-zero but that was all explained in Deception, its because they come from the same people. I just hope that Frost gets the second chance she deserves in MK7.

I can't believe that people still think that only ONE person in MK world can throw ice, or only one person in MK world can throw fire. I mean if she is in the Lin Kuei what do you want her to throw, FIRE!? I mean seriously! I know she is not the coolest MK character EVER but I think she is better than Stryker! That's all I have to say about that.

frost was pretty sexy...I wish she was back in...and Drahmin as well.

Id trade in a Bo Rai Cho, an Ashrah, a Hotaru, a Kira, and a Kobra....all for one Frost.

Hopefully she's unlockable...I hate going back to DA just so I can play her (and Shang Tsung and Quan Chi).

I dont mind the pudgy cop aka Stryker...Id put him along the same lines as Kobra. But I could really care less if he returns.

Stryker was better, and I think his more realistic character fit the mortal kombat story rather well. It brought back a human element that had been lost to monsters and magic. The other humans in the games we're too wrapped up the mystical side of things were as Stryker, to me at least, felt like he just wanted things back to normal so he could forget all about the weird craziness that was going on around him.

Maybe he hasn't turned up since MK3 because he wasn't *want* to get mixed up in all the magical nonsense. Not all heroes are so eager to run off and save the universe afterall.

I'd like to see him return at some point though. I think he has more story potential than Frost.

If I had to choose one, I would choose Frost.Cooler desgin,storyline,powers, and possible cooler future storyline wise. Honestly I think both should come back for MK7.

I hope she does made it in mk7.
