Unfortunately, the MKM: SZ Lin Quei Grandmaster has never been named, and we don't know what his powers or skills are either. The only known facts are that he led the Lin Quei from before MK1 up until somewhere after MKG, and was killed by Sektor, who tried to take leadership for himself. Sektor was then beaten by younger Sub Zero, who reformed the Lin Quei as a force for good.
red_dragon is right, that the Lin Kuei grandmaster was never named in the canon MK storyline (strange since he appears in MKM: SZ a lot) but just for shits and giggles he was named Emiro in MK: DOTR.
He might have been mentioned by name in MK: Conquest as well...
