She was the first to bring in wings and possible the second female character that didn't seem like a rip off of a male characters the first time out (Kitana, Mileena, etc were all in a sense just female ninjas ripoffs of the male versions when they first came out) or an add on to any existing character (Jax an add on to Sonya, Kung Lao an add on to Liu, etc...) Only the originals, with a rare exception or two can claim the same.

Ashrah. Others: Hotaru, Dairou and Havik.

in my opinion havik has been the most original for a whilebut all so far are great suggestions

I think Havik is the most original of the newer characters.

My other two choices would be Hotaru and Drahmin though.

Shinnok.... but from current gen systems....Havik, like him a lot.

He said original, not your favorite. Shinnok stole everyone's moves, and his look was stupid in MK4.

I would have to say Havik, Bo' Rai Cho, Kenshi, and Moloch/Drahmin.

Havik looks as if he would fit in the old mk games.

i was talking about his storyline, and i meant Shinnok from MK:A.

I have to say... Kenshi. I know we alread had a telekinesis dude in the form of Ermac, but I think it suited Kenshi very well. Mavado is on nr 2, I really like the Red Dragon story, it's a shame its prolly gonna end after MKA

Nitira, since she isn't any rip off and has unique styles and specials. btw Kama is the best weapon imo.
