Well I guess you haven't played MK: DA yet. To answer your question, Sub-Zero (the younger (who is not so young any more) brother) is the new Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei clan.

What's the deal with that... Does he look old because of the Dragon Medallion? Was it the wisdom in it?

Sub-Zero defeated Sektor for control of the Lin Kuei.

Sub did forfeit his youth for the medallion. Im not sure where it says, but it does. I think its in the krypt somewhere, maybe his bio. Yeah, check his bio.

Defintely Sub Zero

Sub Zero was a very powerful warrior, if he sacrificed his youth for more power, then he should have had plenty of strength to singlehandedly take on Deadly alliance... Even if not easily, I'm sure he could have done it easier than Kung Lao for example...

The reason why I have understood, it is not that he has become older when one became the GranMaster of the Clan Lin Kuei, but because its kori power became more powerful, and the hair it had left with frozen aspect, for that reason it is seen older of which really it is.

Cyrax and Sektor were Lin Kuei warriors remember, so those two are at least contenders. Although, with Sektor's alternate programming, and Cyrax joining the Special Forces, I doubt they'd be interested.

Thus, Sub-Zero remains the grandmaster. I like to think of Frost as dead, after she tried to steal the amulet, but was overcome by it's raw power.

Well, it could be like this:

A) Frost is dead, the end.

B) Frost realized the error of her ways and is now one of the good guys.

C) Frost goes evil, perhaps joins Sareena and they take out Sub-Zero and become bosses for MK7.

D) Frost gets married to Blaze and they have little kids that are made of water. But probably not.

I thought I heard someone a few years ago mention that the Lin Kuei grandmaster was Darnancient Falls. MMmm, maybe I was imagining things. According to the mortal kombat story lines however, Sub-Zero defeated Sektor for title of Lin Kuei grandmaster. Sub-Zero carries with him the ancient dragon mediallian past down for many ages within the Lin Kuei clan. The dragon mediallian enhances the skills and abilities of the one who possesses it. The Meddiallian can only be recieved with honor.
