I think Cabal is the worst character in mk he is retarded.

Bo Rai Cho or mavado.

Hsu Hao, Stryker, Motaro, and Tanya. I detest them all. But especially Tanya.

Stryker, Drahmin, Mavado, and Hsu Hao. They were all way too corny, not MK enough if you get what I mean.

Every character has their own fan base. There isn't a single character in Mortal Kombat thats hated by the 6 billion Earth inhabitants.
As for the least popualr characters I'll give my opinion.

Stryker- Few people seem to like him. Thats a pity. He may not have the greatest fighting skills but he did have dangerous weaponery. Maybe midway should have used him in a shoot 'em up game instead.
Kai- I don't know much about him. but he has cool moves and looks cool. I liked this character but unfortunaltey, many didn't.
Sheeva- I've put up with a lot of bitching about this character and I've never said a word. now I'm going to release my anger here. Sheeva is awesome! My favourite of the Shokan. She wasn't a clone of Goro. (i.e Kintaro) She had a great story (protecter of Sindel) She has great fatalities. She's a hoot and a half and for a freak she's got a great rack.
Sonya- She's not one of the least favourite yet many don't like her and from the people I know, its mainly those who can't beat her! Sonya is the best, most developed character in the freakin' game!
Tanya- I'm glad she's back, although she looks wierd and now her story can develop more. If MKD comes off well, I think we might be seeing a lot more of Tanya. For an evil skank she has nice moves, although some of them were just remade from Sonya's they're different enough and I still like her.
Nightwolf- Again like Sonya, he's not hated, yet not liked by many. He's a cool character who wasn't even given a chance. The movie screwed him up. As did his fatalities and so did MK:DOTR. Hopefully for Nightwolf fans, in MKD, he will redeem himself.
Shinnok- Not the most liked character and I think that's down to his appearance. he looks like Bozo the clown. Sorry Shinnok fans. I liked his story and if they'd only change his moves and looks he could be one of the best.
Jarek- Sorry Jarek fans, but he is a complete rip of Kano. Only he doesn't say Baby. And he's undeveloped. They should have changed his character. Made him different.

Well, thats my opinion.
Also, Sub-Zero and Scorpion fans. People say Sonya is overrated. HA! Look at these two. They need a dramatic change. Not just an ugly Goro style haircut. (Sub-Zero) I love both characters, but they need change.

It's funny, I was playing the Judge Dredd beta today and was thinking about ripping his Sprites if in the event I ever get to help DreemerNJ make a MUGEN MK game, I was thinking of storyline for him as a hidden character, and was brainstorming how he could fit in, perhaps somehow tie him into Stryker.

Do you know what, I think you might be right. he actually was the worst character, because he was a rip off of Kano, if they had changed him, Made him different and given him a proper storyline, they could have made a good character. But alteast they can work really hard on Tanya's MK Story because, she was never given a chance to develop really.
