Li Mei. Her bio says it all in Deception.Not much was explained who was in the MK: DA tournamet in MK: Deception

nobody won the MKDA tournament because there was NO MKDA tournament. Li Mei got pissed off at Kano because he was bulldozing her village and temple. she would have kicked his ass if Quan and Shang hadn't intervened. they said that if she could win a little tournament they set up, they would leave her village alone. she won. so, being the backstabing bastards they are, Quan and Shang sucked her soul as a "reward"... sucks to be her. they turned her village into a parking lot anyway and her temple became Quan Chi's palace. when Scorp tries to sneak in, Drahmin and Moloch use him as a soccer ball and throw him into the inner sanctum. GOALLLLLLLL! before Scorp is shredded by souls, he finds the portal mentioned in Li Mei's bio. has nothing to do with my point, but I just thought I'd mention that. Reptile was turned into the dragon king. Quan and Shang kill Johnny, Sonya, Jax, Kung, and Kitana (Sub wasn't there due to Frost being a greedy bitch). Rayden started administering smackies to the sorcerrors, but they knocked him out. they then got into a pissing contest about whos the better warlock when Onaga showed up and started with the PAIN. Rayden got up and did Sektor's fatality (self destruct). boom. while he did manage to nuke baldy and hippy, scaly was unharmed. so basicly, Reptile won MKDA... who woulda guessed?

Not really, endings can happen even if they didn't win the MK: DA tournament. in Li Mei's bio in MK: Deception it says she won the fake MK: DA tourament. Who was in the tourement we may never know. There are a few un answered questions from the time line from MK: DA to MK: Deception. For example the intro video of MK: DA clearly shows that all of the major Earthrealm fighters group together including Frost and Sub - Zero. During the MK: Deception intro it shows off but Sub and Frost died on Tsung's Palace grounds. Frost and Sub couldn't / wouldn't have left the group, after they had gotten together with the other Earthrealm fighters. Yet Frost's ending clearly happened.

Reptile didn't win MK: DA. His ending most likey Nitara's and Cyrax's ending did happen. Again some ending can happen even if a character doesn't when a MK tournment see Sonya's and Jax's endings in MK3-MKT.

Btw Cyrax had the self destruct fatality in MK3-MKT

i always kinda thoughjt that it was between baldy,hippy and shocky. then shocky lay down for a bit and the da started on each other. baldy won.
so i just assumed that quan chi had become the champ fior a few seconds until shocky turned him into a stain. it never occured to me that reptile/onaga could won.



quan chi or reptile?

Well you could say Onaga won it, because he came in during the fight between Quan Chi & Shang Tsung VS Raiden, and killed them. But It was never announced that Onaga won, so its hard to say.

i thought Subby and Kenshi surived the Deadly Alliance because they were distracted by someone else.


Kenshi barelly surived his encounter with Mavado and Frost died because she couldnt handle the Dragon Medallion but she knock out Subby out before she got it.


Cryax Reptile and Nitara had their story and surived.


Li Mei and Bo Rai Cho surived because He resuce Li Mei's soul before it was permantly in the undead solider.








Side Note I do remember a episode of MKConquest where they uses the souls of fallen warriors to full their zombie armies. Maybe that is where the idea of the Undead armies came from.

Shang Tsung and Quan Chi announced a tournament where LI mei could have possibly rescued her village. She won, and got slomst killed by Shangs soul steal.

It may be possible that Mavado ripping up kenshi and Kano vs. Mavado was part of this tournament as well. But LI Mei is definitely the winner and greatest victim of this tournament.

The main storline focuses more on the battles outside this contest. Shang and Quan pretty much kicked everyones ass (well deserving if I might add)

Quan Chi

I'd say Quan Chi won but since Onaga came in during the Deception Intro no one really won.

It was Quan Chi. It couldn't have been Reptile because he wasn't Reptile at the time -- he was Onaga. And seeing as how Onaga wasn't even IN Deadly Alliance, that means Quan Chi was the victor. He was the last one standing after the battle between Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Johnny Cage, Jax, and Sonya. And even if you could try to make an argument that Onaga won Deadly Alliance, there's the fact that he didn't actually fight anybody. Raiden killed Shang Tsung and Quan Chi with his blast before Onaga even got to them. But he had already been defeated by the Deadly Alliance, and when Quan Chi defeated Shang Tsung, that "tournament" was over.

Hara Kiri maybe? did you think about that? it was Reptile's body that Onaga was in. Hippy and Baldy knocked out Shocky, Baldy knocked out Hippy, Scaly showed up, Hippy and Shocky woke up, Hippy Baldy and Shocky attack Scaley, Scaley too hard, Shocky go boom, Hippy and Baldy die, Scaley wins.
