lol its not gay why do people say that lol it does not make sence the fatality did not appeel to most people because it was silly looking what would of been better is that quan chi jumps on the like he does and and focuses his power on the head causing the skin to slowly melt away showing the skull !

It was "unfinished", along with the rest of the game, lol. You could so tell that the head of the victim was supposed to pop off after being pulled to full stretching extent. The game is "unfinished", and not meant to be, but was simply a "prototype", and the runner-up will be like "GTA: Vice City to III"
And that's the best way it can be put

I'm not saying I like Quan Chi's fatality. But you gotta at least say it's original, unlike many of the other fatalities in the game - namely Mavado's, Nitara's, Sonya's and Bo'Rai Cho's. Those are all just lethal versions of the characters' special moves and throws. Yes, Quan Chi's fatality could have been better, but IMHO there are worse ones in MKDA.

About Me
"Is it so important that you win one last argument with him?" "No, it is not, but it is true that I will miss the arguments; they were, finally, all that we had."

First of all, there doesn't have to be any blood in it to make it a cool and brutal fatality. I, personally, liked Tanya's 360 Degree Head Twist in MK4, since it was a brutal, yet bloodless, way to off an opponent. Just listening to the opponent's vertebrae snap and grind together as the head is dislocated, then gets snapped back into place by their neck muscles, was almost painful to listen. Plus, the human bobblehead effect afterwards looked realistic enough to make me cringe everytime.
With Quan Chi's fatality, it could have been a similarly brutal, bloodless fatality, but it was turned into a dumb, cartoony finishing move in the end. Quan Chi is badass: He's a master manipulator, an insanely powerful sorcerer, and has no regard for sentient life (since neither Reptile, Goro, or Drahmin and Moloch can be considered 'human') whatsoever. His Insult-to-Injury Leg Beatdown perfectly portrayed his character: Brutal, sadistic, but not without a sick sense of humor and irony (getting killed with your own leg? Only with Quan Chi...). His Human Pez Dispenser fatality in DA was anything but. Plus, with the darker and more realistic approach that Midway's taking with future MK games, this type of fatality just seems way too out of place in the game. Maybe in MK3/UMK3/MKT, but not DA.

The fatality just sucks. Plain and simple. Quan could have sicked a horde of cross-dressing midget mexican zombies after the enemy and it still would have been a much better fatality. (no offence to any midgets, mexicans, crossdressers or zombies for that matter)
And you know, sometimes you can see the dead charachter's texture start to repeat itself... what I am trying to say is it was also quickly and badly done.

It was HORRIBLE. All he does is stretch your neck WTF. Your neck cant even stretch that far. I think it was supposed to be like a spine rip or something but it was unfinished.

yea it is stupid as hell why diddn't they just make it where you just rip there head off it would of been a hell of alot better

I like it.
I like it a helluva lot more than Jax's, Kitana's, Mavado's, and Bo Rai Cho's poor ass fatalities.
I must admit though, it would have been better if the neck/spine fell down after it was dislocated, but all in all i thought it beat half the fatalities in that game.

I tohught Quan Chi's Fatality seemed kind of cartoony. I only liked it when you're opponent falls to the floor, it looks funny. It would have been cooler if Quan Chi jumps on you're shoulders, pulls your head, twice, then the 3rd time, he rips it off and throws it to the ground. Wow . . . i like that.

I dint like his fatality because of 3 things.
1. He is a sorcerer and is going to be the leader of the Dragon Kings army. A person as powerful as that should have his fatality better than a neck stretch.
2. It is impossible to stretch someones neck. If you did their head will fall off after pulling about 3 cm of it.
3. No gore, no good. Quan Chi's fatality was too quick and too boring to be a real fatality. His fatality should have been something to do with his skull fireball or something.

1- the concept is very stupid.
2- there is no blood.
3- thats not realistic. if it was, the neck would break and some paint of blood will flow and that would be better.
4- it look like a cartoon style, and the others fatality in MKDA are not like this, its the only one I dunno why Ed Boon doesn't fired the fuc**** creator of this fatality. it really suck.
5- thats my opinion, maybe you have another and you don't like mine, but I don't care! :)
(sry for the shoking language)
On this I say, C YA!

It's too corny and childish. This is MK, not a saturday morning cartoon. His hilarious Leg Beat Fatality was so much better, why couldn't they reuse that?

It was boring and plain, just like most the fatalities in that game.
they ruined sub zero's and scorpions fatalities as well
sub zero's looked freakin lame and just didn't work. and scorpions spear grew way too much when it went into their head, whatever happened to hellfire? hmmm
and kung laos was toned down way too much. what happened to the good old mk2 fatality.
i liked shang Tsungs and some other, but the chunks are crappy and the animation is bad. it was just not good overall

SpeedRacer Wrote: "But yea his fatality was alright and it was the first of its kind that ive ever saw before." correct me if im wrong but didnt someone on mk4 have a throw move where they jump on the shoulders and twist there head around? think it was reptile or um yeah think it was him anyway i remember that throw looking a whole lot better than quans stoopid fatality on mkda i wont even play with him in mkda cause his finisher is just that crap! words cannot express the crapness so im not gonna try any further im gonna go now and never speak of this craptacular display of crap again unless it comes back to haunt me in mkd which it most probably will since midway doesnt seem to care about fatalities no more boohoo |
Exactly, his Fatality is absolutley and utterly ridiculous it is so far from possible...I'm done and i'm with you I don't use him cause of his stupid fatality.

the wasted a characters fatality with that. im sory it was just disapointin and crap. they culd hav dun sumin rely cool with qwan chi, becus he has a load of weird powers, but they did a neck stretcher. they culd have given that fatality to one of the secret caracters, wats his face, they guy with the metal ball things around him, becus if u ask me, that seemed like a bit of a joke caracter.
