Why don't you like Reptiles new form?
"Reptile in MK2 was the weakest character in the game. In MKDA he's easily top tier. It's in MKDA where fighting Reptile is REALLY a fight for your life. "
I don't really think any MK game has tiers but whatever. In MKDA look at him, he looks comical. How can you take him seriously? If oyu consider the fight of your life fighting an overgrown dinosaur cracker, then, well, good job i guess. Now his Ninja form, he was a complete mystery, not to mention he had the skills and stealth of any ninjas, but had a secret beneath that mask. Fighting him was the fight because imagine fighting somebody who has the expertise of martial arts, can spit acid at you, turn invisible, fire off forceballs, and eat your head? That sounds more skill worthy to me.
And yes I know everybody in TOS did poses, but if you didn't laugh when you saw a huge lizard doing Hulk Hogan poses, then you need humour my friend.

I DO like his new form, but I don't like his new image. I always saw reptile as a warrior, but now he's more of a wild monster.

First of all, every fighting game has riers, period. It's almost impossible not to. And a fight for your life is a fight for your life, no matter who the opponent is; what you says didn't make any sense because a "fight for your life" only has to do with the stakes (survival vs. death) and the difficulty. It would have made sense if you said Reptile's ninja form was more intimidating. But because I've known for almost a decade that Reptile is the weakest character in MK2, and I've known for about a year that he's one of the strongest in MKDA, the way you said it just sounds idiotic (I'm not calling you an idiot, it just sounded wrong, so don't take it personally).
And about the invisibility move, it's a whole different ball game in a 3D game. It can be cheap in a 2D game, but it's absolutely ridiculous in a 3D game.
And WTF is "TOS"? I assume you're referring to Test you Might; where did you get TOS from? And yes, Reptile did look stupider than most, but remember, they didn't have unlimited time and money. Test your Might poses weren't exactly a priority.
heh heh I love English teachers.
anyway, I don't know about weakest, I had an easier time slapping around Baraka than I did Reptile.
I COMPLETELY agree about invisibility in 3D games. I had a mission on Soul Caliber 2 where I had to beat this guy and the only thing I could see was his weapon! It takes a lot for me to get truely pissed at a video game, but that did it.
