How about the someone in hell screws him over after he kills Quan and wont let him RIP so he has to stay and like maybe search out the asshole who wouldn't let him finaly just die. That's the only reason I can think of that would make him stay. ( That might make sense.)

Scorpion goes back to hell and walks to see if he can find anything to do. He then hears fighting and sees Quan Chi and Shang Tsung fighting Sub-Zero (The older brother). Scorpion runs in and attacks Shang Tsung with a kick and starts to punch him. Quan Then sneacks behind scorpion and shoots the green skull thing at him but before it hits it is frozen by Sub-Zero. They continue to fight when the two oni Moloch and Drahim(I think they die cause scorpion wants revenge on them two)come out and star to help Quan and Shang. Scorpion dazed from the beating and Quan gets ready to kill him when a blade come infront of him. He sees that the blade belongs to none other then Baraka. Even though Baraka came to help the 3 warriors were not strong enough to stop the 2 oni, Quan and Shang Tsung. But when it looked like scorpion and the others were gone and voice shouts you weak fool. As Quan turns he is scared of who it was. It was SHAO KHAN. Moloch changes at him but is hit with Shao's hammer. Kahn walked toward Quan. Quan shoots a Skull thing at him but is deflected by a fire ball from scorpion. Shang shoots a fire ball at Scorpion but misses and hits some one else and that some one else was the devil. The devil turns around and sees the fight. He yells at them and says to leave hell and never come back. Just then every thing lights up and the 8 fighters are back in earth realm.

well that idea is more of a joke then a story but at lest it is some thing. Who would of guessed I would think of a team of Scorpion, Older Sub-Zero, Baraka and Shao Kahn. This team can only happen in our heads.

I would sure love to see Quan Chi perish at the merci of Scorpion. But the thing is, what i'm worried about is the story line. What will happen to Scorpion if he did succed to get his revenge against Quan Chi.
Heh... I don't think the fans will be pleased if Scorpion wasn't in MK6/7 and so on... That's if the MK Dev' Team and Midway continue the series.

I think it would be awesome if Scorpion killed Quan Chi, and it wouldn't have to really effect the flow of the story. All they would have to do is bring Quan back in spirit form or something (guys like him don't disapear that easily). Another way to keep Scorpion in the story would be if someone got a hold of the souls of his family and somehow used them against him. Scorpion would be more hateful than ever if that happened. Just a thought.

Yes. I like Quan Chi, but I liked Shao Kahn too, and I thought it was cool the way he died.

I hate Quan Chi But i love Scorpion. So if he were to kill Quan Chi the writers would have to think of something to bring back Scorpion so that he can kick ass for the years to come!!!

I say have Scorpion kill Quan Chi, have Shang Tsung survive and continue the storyline from there. Shang inherits the army and souls. Scorpion gets Quan Chi's amulet allowing him to travel wherever the hell he wants.

HELL NO!!!! Let Shang Tsung stay dead. Kunglao killed him and hopefully he'll stay that way. As for Quan Chi I hope he comes back for MK6 and either he'll be killed by scorpion, subzero, Or worse.the Dragon King

WTF you talkin' bout. Scorpsion becoming an angel? Whoa. But I like that idea about Quan Chi possesing his family. But, heres my idea. After Scorpion kills Quan Chi, Quan Chi becomes an evil spectre and always having a fued with Scorpion. And since Mavado is siding with Quan Chi, maybe Sub-Zero and his clan will ally with Scorpion. Ok, that one was messed up, here goes the real summary. Quan Chi resurects the the Shira Ryu and forces them to ally with the Red Dragon clan. That way, possibly, Sub-Zero will then aid Scorpion in a quest to cure his clan, destroy the Red Dragon clan and Quan Chi. But, here's the catch, one of his rivaled leaders of the Shira Ryu clan (Sincec it's a loose clan) refuses to help Scorpion and aid the DK. What do you think. Good, huh jk

I must agree that Scorpion becoming anything other than a hell spawn is jus plain WRONG! I think it would be interesting if Scorpion killed off Quan Chi, and he too becomes a hellspawn. Also, the return of the other masked ninjas Rain and Ermac. Would make things interesting.

I liked Quan Chi in MK4, his stomp and weapon steal moves were awesome...as was his leg rip fatality. It's sad that he ended up having crappy moves and a crappy fatality in MK:DA. Yeah, gameplay did change alot, alot of his move's wouldn't of worked right in mk:da...but I hope they tinker with the gameplay in the new one to get some of the flow of the originals back in it without totally messing up the flow MK:DA had. I'd like to see Scorpion kill Quan Chi, but not for at least 1 more game.

In the end, Scorpion will DESTROY Quan Chi.

But not right away, since the story has to expand.

It is possible that Scorpion will become some sort of "Angel of Death", what with the Vortex and whatnot. He'll most probably become a kind of "Elder God" figure that's so powerful that he'll only be available as a secret character.

^^ not a bad idea, the secret character bit, hopefully he would look fairly similar to his original self but more badass.

I think Scorpion has to kill Quan Chi, but it shouldn't happen for another game or two, as Quan Chi is one of my favorite characters. Maybe if Midway ever decides to make an official final game in the MK series they should have that as part of the official end of the game, with Scorpion finally exacting his revenge, thus allowing his soul to rest in piece.
