1. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

simply put, its the only MK besides MKT and MKG that has my top 4 fav characters playable. them being Liu Kang, Reptile, Sub-Zero, and Sektor. also ive never liked Reptile better than how he is in UMK3. also Rain, Ermac, Jade, and Scorpion r all playable who i all like.

2. Mortal Kombat 2

the game that Liu Kang became my all time fav cuz of his dragon fatality. best fatality ever imo! also Reptile being playable for the first time. also Raiden and Baraka r playable wich i like since they arent in MK3/UMK3. also just overall a good roster of characters. pretty much every one in the MK2 roster is a fan fav.

3. Mortal Kombat 3

imo worst overall roster ever for a MK game. although i really like how Liu Kang looks and Sub-Zero's all new look in MK3 really set him apart from all the other ninjas extreamly. all the new MK3 characters tho i just dont like. only one that i actually even like from the bunch is Sektor who with his missiles and teleport uppercut became a fav of mine right away.

4. Mortal Kombat: Deception

the return of my fav character, Liu Kang. and looking better than ever! well for a corpse anyways... really really really really really like his zombie look in MKD. finally some thing that isnt same old same old look for him. nice twist in his story line too. also Sub-Zero is flippin' awsome in this game! first they set him apart from the other ninjas way back in MK3 and now even more now in MKD. i also like the Death Traps and all the sweet Fatalities in this game. also just a great story line overall.

5. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance

im one of them ppl who likes Reptiles new look in this game. its just some thing new that really set him apart from the other ninjas. and he kicked ass gameplay wise imo. the thing that i like about MKDA the most is the addition of Mavado who is now my 5th fav character in MK (only got 5 by the way). no Liu Kang tho.... i already lost some interest in MK with MK4... then they killed my fav character.... wasnt till they confirmed Liu Kang to be playable in MKD that i got this game and only for $3.

6. Mortal Kombat

yes the original is far down on my list. honestly i dont even really like my fav character Liu Kang in this game that much. really i can never find a reason to even go back to play this game ever unlike MK2 and UMK3. maybe if i was a big Goro fan.... wich im not.... every thing in this game is in MK2 except better. well not Sonya and Kano, but i dont like either of them. really i dont got any thing good to say about this game except that it started a revolution and has changed my life 4ever! its amazing that such a game that took only a few months to make and was intended as a 1 time thing became the #1 franchise for Midway even to this day. anyways Sub-Zero is the main thing i like in this game such a cool character. pun intended ;)

7. Mortal Kombat 4/Gold

same game really except Gold has more characters and only on Dreamcast. i imagine many fans were pissed about that. then again i imagine many fans were just pissed. MK4 sucks! i remember playing it at Wal-Mart and omg! that game drew me out of MK. for one thing i hate invisible walls in fighters. just annoying. also i hate the characters design for every single character in the game! most of all Reptiles! omg they ruined his look in MK4. although his 3rd costume was alright. Scorpion and Sub-Zero had what i prefer to as "bat man ears" wich i just hated. Liu Kang just looked.... i dunno.... not that great. really just like all the characters didnt look that good imo with only a few exceptions. o Baraka in Gold looks soooooooo bad! i never did buy the game cuz of so much i dislike about the game. although now i wish i could find a Playstation copy of MK4 so i could play it on my PS2 since i never played it for more than 1 setting.

8. Mortal Kombat Trilogy

now y is MKT at the bottom of my list? am i crazy? well honestly this would be at the top of my list, but really wasnt much of any thing new in it. basically just MK1-UMK3 wraped into 1. already paid for MK1-UMK3 so what i need MKT for anyways? so cuz of that i didnt even bother to buy it. if i found a copy of it for PS1 id get it tho, but for no appearent reason besides im a MK fanboy. although it was around this time that i lost interest in MK so that maybe another reason i didnt bother to get it. (i mean the only, and i mean ONLY game i owned for SNES was MK1-UMK3. wouldnt u get a lil tired of MK if thats all u played for years?)

so yeah thats how it is for me. so what do they need to do to have the next MK become my top fav? simply have Liu Kang and atleast 3 of the following 4 playable; Reptile, Sub-Zero (well hes a garentee to be in so no worries), Sektor, and Mavado. id love to see all 5 of my favs in the next one tho.

Mortal Kombat 1. The start of the madness. It had darkness, fear and bloodshed without a trace of light.

Mortal Kombat D. This game really has everything I could ever want in a fighting game. Well almost everything....

Mortal Kombat DA. Very cool game, but MKD beats it.

Mortal Kombat 2. Nice enviroments but the friendships and babailites kinda added humor which turned me off a little.

Mortal Kombat 4. Ehh....It wasn't bad, but it's seem's a little off in every area.

Mortal Kombat 3. Half assed. The clone ninja's and the fatalites were all medicore. I thought the combo's were kinda cool though.
