Definately SNES. Although I have never played the real PSX version, only a prerelease version that I imagine did not represent the full quality of the game.

SNES had tons of color (about 4 times more then Genesis and it even used more colors then MK2 for 32X) and had a ton of frames of animation (no cutting ending stances in half like Some systems), great sound (should I make another Genesis crack? Cause the sound was terrible there too), and the gameplay was fun. It was far from the arcade gameplay but it was still enjoyable.

yes i agree when irew i was raised on the on snes and gameboy therefore i played mk1 and mk2 for both system.thanks for answer all my mk question.glasses

The SNES version was great but my favorite had to be MK II for the PC. It was fun to play, had all the sounds of the arcade version. It was awesome. I wish I still had it.

I downloaded mortal kombat 2 for pc off of a website. It had no sound was the music arcade perfect?

To my knowledge the PC MK II used the orginal tunes from the Arcade.

snes by far. its the only version of mk2 i played besides arcade that wasnt crappy in some kind of way. hell, i even like the pit 2 fatality better on snes than any other version (including arcade).

best version was saturn, why? BABY BASHING!!! that had to be the most imfamous glitch, EVER! it was great fun.
