I wish MK VS DC had this mode. Any chance it might be included? I know I am preying for a longshot, but....hey post your comments here regardless.

No, it won't happen. It simply wouldn't work with this game, since it's based more in 2-Dimentions. I mean, it's a 3D game, but the opponents are always facing each other. If you want to have a 4 on 4, battle royale type of kombat, then you'd have to have a 360 fighting system, like in a wrestling game.

A 2 on 2 kombat probably has more chance. Like from Deception how they had that whole Noob-Smoke concept that worked well. Just set up a mode like that with any character combination in the MK v.s. DC roster. It worked in MK: Trilogy too, so maybe a 2 on 2.

Sorry to tell you but Ed Boon confirmed that the game will not be a tag team battle nor anything like that .It will be a pure 1 agains 1 fighting game .

But 2 on 2 tag team is still a much more realistic expectation than 4 on 4 battle royale.

So if Ed Boon said that there will be only 1 on 1, why did one of the game makers say on Game Trailers there would be more at the end?
Was that just a hint that Shao Kahn and "insert evil DC boss name here" would be combine?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was

That's more on the DOA side, which was only pleasing for a moment.
What I would prefer - which is also what I plan to do with my video game - is a 360 format. You could find that format in the Super Smash Bros., WWE, and Def Jam games.

But since we can already see that that's not what the gameplay is gonna be like, it's obviously not a possibility.

If this game had a tag mode coop and versus, it would be greatness. Every fighting game should have a tag mode, but all the noobs would go "Waaah! It's more like Tekken now, and that's gay!". WTF? Tekken Tag didn't invent the tag concept, and even if they had of done; who cares. There's nothing funner than co oping in a fighting game to beat on the CPU. Otherwise, fighting the computer just isn't as good.
I repeat ALL fighting games should have a tag mode, and it's a pretty easy thing to program.

they should've done that in shaolin monks, but they were morons instead.
