I DO!!! i think its great. That way when the game is shipped and we get to play it for the first time, well be surprised as to who made the cut and who didnt. Its better not knowing than knowing already. I dont think they should confirm any more characters. Maybe only 2 or 3.

It either means we'll get only 1 extra classic character and 5 new characters from DA.
Or it means that we get 3 classis characters and 2 chars from DA.

I took it to mean that 8 r just brand new, 6 were in Deadly Alliance but weren't necessarilly new in it, and 10 weren't in Deadly Alliance but were in at least one previous MK game.

Hmmm....guess we'll find out once another character gets revealed....

Well, if there would only be six characters returning that made their debut in "Deadly Alliance" I would like these characters return.

Mavado - This character was responsible for the destrucion of the Outerworld Investigation Agency. Mavado made connections with the Deadly Alliance and gained support in the Outworld for his Red Dragon clan. The clan war between the Red Dragon and the Lin Kuei sounds interesting and I would like to see Mavado return to battle in this war.

Kenshi - This character is already returning and these are my reasons why he is. Kenshi still has some unfinished business in the Outworld that he left behind when he was wounded. Kenshi had made an alliance with Ermac and now that character is confirmed for "Deception". Kenshi was left for dead by Mavado and is probably back to get revenge on him.

Nitara - She is the only vampire to appear in Mortal Kombat. If Reptile is the Dragon King then I would think that Reptile would remember her deception and wipe out the whole vampire race. Nitara could introduce new characters into "Deception" by bringing in more vampires to fight in the battle going on in Outworld. Nitara has alot of potential on returning in "Deception".

Drahmin - The oni race from the Netherealm is very interesting. In Raiden's ending in "Deadly Alliance" he mentioned a possible legion of oni spewing forth from the Netherealm to unleash a reign of terror. I think Drahmin could lead the oni into the realms as a general. I could see Drahmin and the oni as a "wild card" in the whole battle against the Dragon King.

Frost - The title of the new game is "Deception" and after seeing her ending in "Deadly Alliance" this character would fit perfectly in this game. If Frost joins a rival clan against Sub-Zero she could give him alot of trouble. Not only does she obtain important knowledge of the Lin Kuei, she has the same powers as Sub-Zero which could be used for study by a sorceror to create a clone warrior with Sub-Zero's powers. Frost could come back into "Deception" to try and steal Sub-Zero's Dragon Medallion one more time.

Blaze - Even though this character was undeveloped he knows what and who the Dragon King is. If Blaze was given his own original fighting stances and developed moves I could see Blaze back to finsish his "quest" that was mentioned in his ending in "Deadly Alliance".

I think that Sub-Zero and Scorpion apply to being returning characters from Deadly Alliance mainly because of the way it is worded in the article. 6 are *returning* from Deadly Alliance. I think it means everyone.

Also in the article they consider Kabal, Sindel, and Baraka as "Classic characters", so my guess is as good as everyones.

They said "10 classic", and 6 from mKDA. I'm sure that Sub and Scorp are going to be among the classic character. Here's who I think will be the returning DA characters:

Frost
Mavado
Drahmin
Kenshi (confirmed)
Nitara
and last...unfortunately...Bo Rai Cho

I agree completely with Shang here. I think the same characters he mentioned will return. I too think when they say 6 returning from Deadly Alliance, means 6 of the characters introduced in it. Sub-Zero and Scorpion will be classics. I mean come on, how do you get more classic than Subbie and Scorpion?

Didnt they say that Bo Rai Cho would only feature in a Konquest type mode or be there to teach u moves only, ie he wont be playable.
