It's been mentioned before but i'd like to see some way of retriving a weapon thats impaled in somebody during a round, by way of a throw or something maybe.
On the other hand, maybe its pointless seeing how the rounds are fairly short anyway.
Perhaps the weapon, if jammed into an opponents gut in round 1 could remain there for the whole fight (not being retreived between rounds), and be withdrawn by way of a throw or something if the player wants to use it again later on in say round 2 or 3?

Thats SICK good idea. I just had another idea what if when they pull there weapon they drag the weapon like its one swoop motion kinda thing like u would do with anything else ud drag it then pull so then could loose life going into the match so then it would add that taste of blood and realism there looking for plus it would make the game harder if u lose life going into the second round what do u guys think?

Would the opposite apply if they landed face up?
Another award winning idea. That would be realistic. Plus it should quickly drain your life giving you a panic time to kill the other opponet. Plus I had another idea that like with the HAri Kairi's they should show a controllable timer when i say controllable i mean option's. so it would show u how much time u have or if u want the challenge u can simply turn it off. Anyway thats my second idea enjoy. And reply to my other idea if u wish.

That's a cool idea, it would add suspense...make you think: Will I make it in time...clocks ticking away always = panic. It would make it harder to pull off if your thinking bout the time running out. another nice idea. ANd it's cool that you'd have the option of turning it off as others may not agree.
thats cool like they can use it and they can have 2 weapons and u got none to make the game harder. And Tomtaz i know what u sayin but maybe Some Midway employee will see this and maybe keep it in mind for MK7.

That would be a very nice, realistic idea also! I mean who the hell would stand there and just let a weapon hang out in there body? Natural instinct would make you pull it out. *shrugs* but since when has MK been about realism...damn shame really. Nice idea.

I like that timer idea, it'd make the end of a fight a tad more frantic.
Thanks man I appreciate all your ideas kinda like the classic game when u had to find the distance and get there and then tap the buttons in and it was a short time it would add that old feeling of MK2 and 3 alike. Keep it coming Guys and gals I GReatly appreciate it!!!

Oh! I've had another idea! This whole idea could lead up to a mercy. What i was thinking was, once the timer runs out, you have the choice of sparing the enemies life by pulling the weapon out yourself, or leaving it int and let all of the opponents health drain out until they are dead.

Thats sick also were a 2 man crew u and I! PLEASE keep it coming and keep this thread alive. And that idea would make the game more cool like u can show compation for your favorites like Kabal and just let someone like Johnny die u know i myselfe like Johnny but sometimes i just wanna kick his ass for being so cauky.

One more idea to add to the mercey idea. IT COULD LEAD UP TO A WEAPON FATALITY! If you decide not to spare your opponent's life, each character would have their own unique weapon fatality. Scorpion could grab the handle of his sword and twist it 'til the blade is facing upward to the victim's head. Then all of the sudden you see light colored fire rage from Scorpions's arms to the sword and the victim instantly catches on fire then Scorpion gives the sword an upward thrust and the victim is split in half from the torso up and the meat, ect... all fall to the ground with embers on them burning.

I come up with one like if umm they have Raiden unsure myself but anyway he could eletricute it and youd stand there spassing and burning up kinda like u would with a taser. Kinda like in Sypahn Filter when the dude tasers him and he burns they can do that. Or they can take anyone guy and he can jump kick the blade off your body and decapitate ya head off and then he can burn it over your dead body kinda like a marshmellow!

That's a sweet idea. I also got an idea(I don't know if it's been mentioned) when someone gets impaled the person who gets impaled should be able to pull the sword off and use it against the owner. Also when the victim removes the weapon he should hold his affected area(Sais=knees, Swords=stomach) for the rest of the match.

I think the weapon impale should have some significance to both rounds, since it is a semi-permanent thing.
I also liked UREIKO's idea of the opponent using the weapon against you in the next round. In many games, the most powerful attacks usually have some sort of penalty(loss of life, or an ability even). Although the impale is extremely deadly, you not only surrender the weapon to your enemy, but you risk him using it against you in the next round.
