And who says the kid will be just some little stupid no-experience character? Age has nothing to do with fighting skills. The kid could be from earth or from Outworld or from other realm, and if he was chosen, then its for a reason. He wont just be touched and die, he could be as strong as the others, and have weaknesses too.

But I actually agree it would be bad for Mk...all the problems it could get, but like someone said, it would make people buy it even more. The idea of this topic was to see the opinion of people about having some kid in the series, and I actually agree in both opinions. It woudlnt suck, but it would mean trouble for Mk...

Its not right. Midway would get ripped a new one by the press if a kid is getting mutalated and killed by full grown adults and demons. Take out the fatals, blood, stuff like that, and you can, but then you have Street Fighter or MvC or something.

My personal opinion, unless if was an unhuman creature, like a one year old..."reptile" type creature (emphasis...CREATURE) that didnt look anything like a baby anything, it would be cool. That would defeat the whole purpose, but you never know.

just because little kids wish they could be a real fighter in Mortal Kombat, doesn't mean they should put one in.

Kiddie characters don't fit into MK. The other games someone mentioned are much lighter, and less violent so a kid is more acceptable there. Don't like kiddie characters in fighting games anyway.

Instead of killing the kid with a brutal fatality, he could be the only special character to be finished in a unique way, like instead of burning him to death, all the other characters would do the something funny, like kick him hard and send him very far away. Or squish him.

I mean, something violent, but funny. Not painful and brutal.

Well... I do commend you on properly using the search feature. However, if you read our Community FAQ, you'll see that "bumping" is not permitted. Though a defintive date has not been set, we have all agreed that threads that are not on the first two pages of any given forum should not be replied to. You can create threads about things that may have been discussed in the past, there is not issue with that.
