Neat idea, BUT only if it were it's own game. We don't need a half-assed konquest mode butchering the prime fighting game itself (like it has in the past). Maybe another Shaolin Monks... sure why not. I'd prefer a standard fighting game, but another adventure game wouldn't upset me either if it looked, ran, and played like Gears of War. (Minus Guns-- Plus Fighting)

If they where going to do that which I think they might with the success of Shaolin Monks I would want it to be a game itself also.

I think this kind of peripheral content in beat 'em ups has become a must. I like to think between Konquest, Tekken Force (/Devil Within), and whatever pseudo-RPG business Soul Calibur has going on, it's becoming a genre standard.

And why not? Only the Street Fighter fans are stupid enough to enjoy the rigmarole of fifteen years of pointless repetition...

I would like to see a Konquest type game. My premise would be you control one of the really old characters. I figure either a Young Shang Tsung, Great Kung Lao, Lui from childhood, or my favorite Scorpion's human self, Hanzo. I would also throw in Shao Kahn rising to power and Smoke's past.

Well, just any character's past would be a good game.
