After some serious thought, I came up with this:
1.
-W is the 23rd letter of the alphabet.
-Q is the 17th letter of the alphabet.
=Together, they equal 2317, or 23:17, or better yet, 11:17 p.m.
2.
-4 could be the 4th realm of the game (Outworld)
-5 could be the 5 lettered area (E)
-6 could be the numbered area of that section (6)
=Together, it could be Outworld at E-6.
=This means that maybe something happens in the hut at Outworld E-6 at the exact time of 11:17 p.m. It could work because time stops in the buildings so you could check at an exact time.
I tried this for a whole month with no luck, but I didn't try the whole year or anything that large. Also, a specific date (e.g. the exact date that the original MK came out in the arcades) could work with the specific time.
I've since gone back to the drawing board, but I thought I'd post this theory in case anyone else has any ideas.
I look forward to working with everyone here to try to krack this game!

Stay classy, MKO.

-W is above Sub-Zero
-Q is above Nightwolf
-4 is above a dark red/maroon/deep purple Koin. (Maybe Ruby?)
-5 is above a lighter green koin (Maybe Jade?)
-6 is above a yellow koin (Maybe Gold?)
One more thing, the code that is written in the guide (although I can't completely confirm this as I don't have the guide, but others have) is:
1, Right, 2, Left, 3, Up, 4, Down, Block.
Still, I can't find a connection between all of these, but I'm putting them here for reference during the discussion.

In ChaosRealm, there is a graveyard, and a man standing near it says:
"This is where we bury our dead. Other strange things happen here, however." (or something like that.) I thought that maybe he was referring to Noob who was there originally, but another person is talking specifically about him, so I decided to investigate further...
-There are 26 graves in the graveyard (A-Z?)
-The graves have a colored sphere in them, and perhaps these colors changes to reflect the colors in the Kodex.
Also, another person says something to the effect of, "Some say that there is treasure hidden under the graves of the dead."
I don't know what to do with the graves; perhaps an item that you get in Konquest unlocks them.
And just a question: Where is the labyrinth that the man in the south western corner of the map tells you about?

I'll be doing some more searching throughout today, and I'll update here if I find out anything new.
I think the WQ koffin is a place holder so that the game doesn't have to load up the entire graveyard right away. Everything off screen is WQ. If you scroll fast enough, it just so happens that the Koffin doesn't have a chance to change. Just what I figure...I could be wrong.
I've replied to such an idea in a previous thread but I'll do it again since you might have not read it.
It makes no sense to have a place holder koffin, it would be memory waste. Koffins are NOT loaded when you pan the camera to them, they are loaded when you enter the Krypt. The Krypt is loaded all at once and not a koffin at a time, it makes no sense to keep swapping texts and textures and have a place holder koffin with WQ when the letter W seemingly doesn't even appear anywhere else in the Krypt making it's presence in the Krypt's font waste of memory. It would be bad programming and I do believe the guys at Midway know better than this given their experience. It makes no sense to have a place holder koffin.

This thing has to have some greater meaning. The hardest part is knowing what requirements are needed to utilize it. I have all the Koffins unlocked, but it could also be beating the game with everyone in Arcade and Puzzle, or at a harder difficulty, or even doing everything in Konquest, a task that is incredibly intimidating.
Let's not be pessimistic, that's the first step to failure. There has to be something to it, and if we all work together, we can figure this out.
Keep up the good work and the good faith!
