A REMINDER to ALL users of the MKD forum

I would like to remind all users of the MKD forum of the thread I made which can be found HERE.

The thread was created for the sole purposes of trying to prevent repeat topics by being there as a reference to check what subjects had been voiced. It was also made as a means of new users being able to check what subjects had been made. The threads are there as a collective for ALL users to read them and reply to them regardless of age and even add more recent threads to them so that they’re there for all to see.

Recently there has been an abundance of repeat threads, to which many users have either been annoyed at or even flamed. This can be prevented hopefully, if everyone can in some way contribute to keeping the thread I made filled with new topics.

Currently there are sections for the following themed threads:

FAQs
Character speculation
Deception and character theories
Graphics, morphing and other gameplay effects
Character concept and speculation threads
Endings
Stage threads
Dragon king theories and speculation
Weapon and Style Speculation
Hari-Kari threads
Miscelleaneous

I am planning on adding three new sections:

Special Moves
Fatalities, Animalities, Friendships etc
Forum games

More can be added if you have a thread that falls into any of the above categories or even a new category. I have a list of threads, which I’ve collected to be added to the thread. I need your help in adding more. Any old or recent posts you have can be added. Please PM me or leave a message in the thread (which is stickied and titled: EVERYTHING IMPORTANT ON THE MKD FORUM CRAMMED INTO ONE THREAD!)
with the thread(s) url so I can add it to the appropriate section.

That's very true. I mean, there are too many repeated threads. If the thread makers searched for the answer first, either through the search forums, or through the stickied threads - then there would be a lot less clutter, and good new idea threads wouldn't get buried so quickly. Ah well, here's hoping people will read THIS thread and add there questions/opinion to tgrant's exisitng stickied MKD thread...

Exactly how tgrant isn't at least a Shadow Priest is beyond me. Thank you tgrant, not just for this thread, but for being one of the voices of reason in this forum. It's appreciated.

Indeed a good reminder tg, as lately the forums have been infested with repetitive threads, making some users don't even want to come here, it would be cool if the new guys could take a minute and read it. I hope this helps cause i don't wanna think what would happen one week before Deception is launched if this keeps going on. SuCh Is LiFe......

Great thread, but the sad thing is there r so many noobs who could care less and will continue to create pointless threads unless disciplinary (sp) actions r taken.wow

I don't mind so much threads being made about different characters (ie Noob/Skab, Lui Kang, etc)

It's more when we have 4-5 threads on the same topic on the front page about how Noob is/isn't Skab and when we have people coming on saying OGM!!!1!!1!!1 100K @ WHT i JST FOUd!!1!1!!!!111one and it turns out to be an old pick of Sub-Zero's primary outfit when I get aggro.

I understand what you mean man. Hopefully some of those topics can be added to my thread for others to see when they arrive.

Good to see someone paying attention and taking action. Hopefully with your help this site can become easier navigationally and less complex with repetitive topics all over causing other important topics to be removed.
If new users(newbeez) keep posting like that tgrant, maybe you might consider creating a thread just meant for newbies. New Users Posting Thread
It might help. or the site could easily have it near general discussion.
