About Baraka's render...
Well the backround kind of looks like the place that he got blown up in, in MKG. I'm not sure who said it but I know someone mentioned it. And I was just thinking, the place they were in was Sindel's thrown room. Possibly Sindel is a character? I wouldn't care if she was or wasn't but I was just thinking.
Not coming back as ninja's though. Something different. Like since Ermac is made up of souls he could be someone who morphs like every two seconds into someone else, but not people from the game. Possibly concepts from MK:DA and whatever that have from MK:Deception. Or maybe something different. And Rain should have the form of a ninja, but made of mist or something like that. They shouldn't be human.

The render leads to many questions. Is it just me or is there something wrong with his arm?
You could say that Barkaka was in the Sindel thrown room but I am just curious as to how valid Mortal Kombat Gold was in terms of stories. Do you guys consider MK Gold and Mortal Kombat 4 one in the same? I always thought that Gold was a special MK 4 that didn't necessarily fall into the real MK storyline.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one. They look like sticks and are way too thin.
On another note though it's just a render, not an ingame model. I remember the Moloch one looked almost as good. This one is definely better with some more deatail though. And the game didn't even come close to producing the detail that was in the renders. If anything this image will either turn up as his bio pic in the game, or his ending pic. Nothing more.
Also considering that his arms aren't proportional and the game is ways off his model will most likely change. Remeber the the first scorpion and Jax renders? They both ended up being changed entierly.
Talking about characters with potential, this has to be another one! She, like Mileena, has one of the best storylines in the history of Mk! Her character design was just awesome in Mk3, I remember talking about her as the Dead Gothic Witch. Sindel had excellent moves and some very cool fatalities. Her scream, her hair and her flying abilities made this chick one my faves.
She has to be one of the best New characters that came in Mk3, she was even supposed to have an appearance in MKDA, but sadly, time didnt allowed it. I hope we get to see more Sindel, she is one of the best characters Ive seen in Mk.

Ok so I have to ask you guys. Is it just me or inside the mouth of the Baraka render, doesn't it look like there is an old MK fight scene? Like one character is getting ready to do a Fatality? Or am I just on some heavy stuff right now?
Yeah, Baraka looks too skinny for his own good. Maybe he actually did die(MKG ending or NOT) and is being "reconstructed", like Shang Tsung was in MKII comic book. Or he's just an even bigger freak of nature and he's so skinny he makes my figure look like CARTMAN!!!!!!
Stan and Kyle: HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!
Cartman:HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I'm not a specialist but this render isn't so good. I've seen better on PSX (vide FFVIII). Of course it's only static photo but that's what I think. About that what's behind: it may mean nothing.
Well first off, you are crazy if you think that this render of low quality. According to Midway, it is an actual in game shot, but if that is so then there is no way that it can be for any of the current systems that are out now. Based on the level of detail and the amazing lighting effects I'd say that it is likely slated to release on all the next gen systems which will likely come out in 2005, which is also when I think that MK6 will come out.

his arm seemz to me to be more behind him. His upper part of the arm is hidden behind torzo.
Where did midway say it was an ingame shot? I thought they said "no comment" and the person who sent it in said take it and don't ask questions. It's most likely from the intro, if I remember correctly the first images we got of deadly alliance from lui kang to rayden were from the introduction. The only thing I don't like is that when MK went to 3d, it started making cartoony 3d models and not realistic ones. I mean, i've seen more realistic models in a bunch of other GC, PS2 and XBOX games. I believe this was a complaint in some reviews as well.

If you look closely you can see something that looks a lot like Nightwolf with his arms layed down alongside his torso inside Baraka's mouth. I know that's probably random but it's there...

Looking strictly at the face, I can not see this as an in game pic. To high res, to clean. It shows not only pretty strong particle effects, but a nice DOF as well. Since when has DOF been uesd in any game, let alone a fighting game; unless there was a functional intent behind it?
However, I look lower down on the image and the texture res seams to be a little lower and the poly count a little smaller. Which, is common practice; to have the face be of higher poly and texture res than the rest of the character.
I, too, haven't heard of this being an "in-game" pic. If it is, I can only specualte that MK6 is going to be developed for the next gens. If not...they are pumping hella specs out of the current systems.
