It's an interesting theory, weather is a definite for Rain.They will most likely give him Water, Clouds or a storm like move as two or one of his specials.

Rain looks freakin' awesome with his new look, it gives him the stealthy and agile feel. The cape his AWESOME. and I like what they did with his mask which mkaes him look kind of like a samurai ninja.

Anyways, I like the new look okay. Not as impressive as Ermac or Smoke's new designs, but it's a step in the right direction. I just hope he doesn't wind up using daggers as his weapon - I don't think they suit him.
In either case, I hate him 50% less than I used to.

Shadaloo is right on this one. Daggers just dont seem to be the right weapon for him. Look at the other characters who have them,
Kira: Dragon teeth
Kano: Butterfly Knives
And then you have otehr people who have two handed weapons like the kama or sais, so have something an Edenian (knight) would have since that is where they are going with his look.

Too many people have the dagger fighting style...Hsu Hao, Kira, Kano! Rain needs an original weapon.

Hsu Haos weapon is everything but a dagger, a Butterfly Knife is a short sword in essential well above or equal to a forearms lenght of blade. And daggers are always punctual not edged. This makes Rain a kniver.
+how does Rain look like a knight? He is not mounted, nor is he wearing heavy armanents.

I know Hsu Hao's weapons aren't Daggers...I meant Daggers as in the fighting style's Kano, Kira, and Hsu Hao share (becasue Hsu Hao's Sun/Moon weapon movelist is pretty much the exact same as Kira's Dragon Teeth and Kano's Butterfly Knives)

Rain's look is logical; they have turned Edenia into sort of a middle eastern culture in the past few games. It's logical that he went Prince of Persia.

He does look nobel though regardless which is why I'm surprised he's evil, then again most of us are assuming which we shouldn't do.

The only character that had daggers is Kira wtf are you guys talking about. And hers were dragon teeth. Rain's are Shokan Daggers. i agree with Jerrod. Rains look reminds me of Movado's alt. I think they altered movado's primary and alt to create rain. It's no big secret that midway reuses features from past characters to revamp new characters.
As far as his new look....eh I'm glad to see him in the game but I'm in between. I wanted more of a noble samurai type feel. All i get from this new look is....a new style for ninjas. I wanted him to break away from that.
