i'm sorry, i can't reply to messages. the site hasn't been working right for me, but i had to put my two cents in on why I want Tanya in the game. First off, the reason they have a variety of characters is to please as many people as possible. Obviously people they surveyed and talked to were interested in bringing her back, or they wouldn't have. fact is some people like her. she was my favorite in MK4. her story was appealing, and she was real fun to play with and had a cool design. i'm very excited to see what they do with her. again, everybody likes different characters. i for one can't stand scorpion, but it doesn't bother me that he continues to make the games even though he hasn't changed at all since the first game. so i guess to the people confused about why tanya's in the game, just have an acceptance or respect that different characters appeal to different people. we're not in the point of technology yet where games can be custom made just for you, so you're just gonna have to deal with some disappointment.

blah blah .. your entitled to your opinion of course :) .. but you get mine too .. Tanya was lame in MK4, and I don't care how great she is this time around, I'll hate the little Kitana replacement.

I hardly doubt people were polled on what characters should return, if that were the case Sonya, Kitana, Kung Lao, Etc would be returning as well. It's 99.9% clear they aren't.
Now I will admit .. if a miracle happens and Kitana returns too .. I would welcome Tanya with open arms .. so I can take Kitana and kick the snot out of her. whew .. venting over wink

I never was a big Kitana "fan" so I wouldn't mind if she isn't in the game.I wanted Frost and Sonya to come back but their chances are slim.In my opinion Mileena is at least twice the fighter that Kitana is,but thats just my opinion.If Kitana is in the game I'll kill that bitch with Subby.BTW,I think Tanya will be a great addition to MK:Deception.

But I'm happy that Tanya is back and if Kitana comes back then that is even better. The more the merrier I say.

..............Yea, that pun was pretty bad man. Anyway, Im cool with Tanya coming back. Kitana, shes cool, but I wont be dissapointed if she doesnt come back.

I'm not a HUGE kitana fan either, but i did think she was pretty cool. I hope frost returns though, the word "decieving" matches her perfectly, and that could make alot of twists and turns involving subzero. I think sareena should return as well. As for tanya, i thought she shouldnt of returned, but i dont mind, cause my babe mileena is in tha house, and she'll be there to kick her ass.tongue
Jade and Tanya are by far my favorite females because they look different from everyone else. Tanya had Jade's boomerang and Sonya's athletisism in MK:4, but I always thought that that sort of combination worked well! The only problem I see with Tanya is her Kiss of Death. Sonya had it first, then it moved on to Kitana, and finally ended up with Tanya. If MK:6 gives her a more original fatality, she may just top my favorite charts. Sorry, Jade. wink

I like Tanya for a few reasons. The first being that she's arguably the only hispanic looking character in the whole MK series. I also think that it'd be interesting to see how a projectile weapon (boomerang) works in MK:D.

That said, I have a few problems with her as well. For one, she needs a new look. Not to be all color conscious, but yellow and black are scorpions colors. Perhaps they could use brown and yellow or brown and beige. I dunno. I wouldn't mind seeing her look more like Maya from Killer Instinct. Long curly hair, bare feet. Again, just making suggestions. But she needs a new outfit to differentiate her. Plus, she could use some new moves. Since Kai will most likely not be in this game, I wouldn't mind seeing her use a capoiera style. (although in all honesty, Kai's moves looked more like breakdancing than capoiera lol)

So in all, I'm for her as long as they fix her up and make her look new and unique. But then again, I could probably say that about any character.

Tanya isnt one of my faveret characters
but i`m still happy they gave here a
second chanse,why in the hell it needs to
be always kung loa,johnny cage etc
really i`m borth of those characters and
want new meat for the grinder, or some old ones
that haddend bine just for all the games.
They can make any previous character into a legend by simply designing them better..

Tanya was originally a "deceptor" in MK4.. she fits well.

I disliked her design in MK4.. and she certainly was a mock up of most females prior to her..

And again I say.. "Noooo!"

Tanya is lame.

She was a rip-off of too many characters. Jade's boomerang and Kintana's version of the kiss of death and her colors were that of Scorpions.

She was just lacking and lame.

Kitana should take her place on the roster since Mileena and Kitana should always be together.
