Well, it doesn't really matter though, but with fake endings you really don't know what happens and what doesn't and it also gives Midway a few different possibilities for the sequel.

If what you are saying is true that they will have FMV endings then I must ask. How do you know by chance?
People who played the 100% complete version of the PS2 at GameStars says the endings were just like in MKDA.
I'm only saying this if you're saying "there will" be FMV endings that's all.

Yeah that's true Rumors do spread and some people begin to think they are fact. As for FMV endings I doubt it will happen. If the GameStars version was 100% then I think we'll just have narration with text images again. Maybe we can someday start a petition for FMV endings for MK7 or complain about it enough on the forums lol.

At Game Stars Live, I was told by the Midway that the game was only 80% complete, not 100. By the way, even though it was 80% completed, some stuff was locked out, so we probably only seeing about 50% of the game.
Either way... it still doesn't leave much room for FMV endings. Why would they both to make MKDA-style ones at all, if not many people would even see them?

Well maybe it wasn't but people who played it said they saw text endings with pictures and that they were "supposedly" told it was a 100% complete ps2 version and an 80% complete x-box version.

I love all the fake endings!! They give you so many different ideas and the fake endings are always way cooler then the true**** ones.

I dont mind either way. but I agree that putting some fake endings in gives the team a better choice when making MK7 and also the chance to change their minds if they want to if what they think is gonna happen at end of MKD doesnt go down well with fans or doesnt seem right.

i know what you mean. like shang stung was killed by kenshi, but they also say he was killed by kung lao. shang stung and quan chi's didn't fit together all that great either

fake endings are way better! I mean, Tanya leading Liu Kang to a bloody, explosive end, or Liu saving the world again. Tanya's ending all the way.

Nah. These things keep you guessing. There is a mystery about if stuff really happened and it keeps the story interesting.

I don’t think all endings will ever be real in MK.
Most contradict each other. That has always happened and always will.

Fake endings=what pissed me off about all the Mk games
fake endings have been two things primarily.......laziness and to rake in money when they get to alter the stories for the next mk game they are to make.
The mk character stories throughout the years w/ every game have been so incoherent and filled w/ plot holes in general,when you take the whole story into consideration up to this point.Not only the whole story,but has anyone noticed that w/ every game since mk3,many characters' story within that particular game cancel out another characters ending?
say like in one ending Raiden could kill Quan chi,then in Quan chi's ending,Quan kills raiden......wtf?
most of it makes no sense and really pisses me off

you must be new to the series or do not understand how mk works. mk is a tournament and there can be only one champion in the end. whoever wins is the reality that will happen and thus each fighter potentially creates a different end story.

Only MK1 and MK2 were tournaments. The rest have been wars or (like the Street Fighter Alpha games) a bunch of smaller stories for the characters combined to make one large story.

I have been playing Mortal Kombat since I was 4 years old!!!!!
I was just expressing my feelings that Midway shouldn't make fake endings anymore because it always confuse me!!!!!!
and besides I know more than you about Mortal Kombat than you ever can imagine!!!

The endings aren't fake, they're all "what if" scenarios.
