i no MKA cpould have been better but to be honest i really liked it a lot and i play that more then i play any of the others. i mean MKA def had the beest konquest and it had all the characters, even the ones u thought u would NEVER see agian like stryr and shevva and kintro and all them, KAK and the KAF sucked but besides that i thought MKA was a great game and maybe the best yet

I liked MKA, but it could have been better. Lack of biographies was a dissapointment, and the endings seemed a bit rushed imo. If midway had more time, or even delayed the game, it could have been much better. Hell Motaro might have had 4 legs, because space is definitly not an issue for a game like that. It just takes some time and testing to figure out more complex character designs.

It is fun but not great. I liked the KAFighter, I thought it was good for a first try.

Yeah man this game was great just the uniqueness was really lacking in the fatality department as well as the KaK and of course the endings, then again, wheres the flawlessness, bios shoulda been up already, I guess these doods don't take their words bak and give us good but with flaws silver disky games.
What i didnt like was the lack of fatality orignality of each character and the KAK were just...really crap, could not even transition you know, so you cant put them on knees or anything like that, but its good enough as you have online, all we can do now is play it and wait another year for mk8 which should put it back in the mainstream line where deception still had original stuff from the first few mk games

I agree that the k-a-f caused the characters to have a lack of originality but the game itself was still pretty good.
And am I the only one that noticed the figure/person walking on the cliff in the opening movie? (the cliff in the background straight behind the vulture eating the soilder and where the good guys come from)

I do think that it is Taven at the end of MKA Konquest right after he defeats his brother.

Incidently, It was at the opening of MKA Konquest with their parents were talking about the quest and the brothers.

I kinda thought it could be Taven. You can also hear the fighters fighting when Taven is talkin to Blaze at the end as well of konquest.

its funny, other fighting games completely rip mortal kombat apart when it came to fighting engines but yet its still my favourate, i play tekken5 more than anything but i love mk to death.

like, even tekken2 and maybe even tekken1 for ps1 had wake up attacks and it took the team till mka to do it and it was horrible, lmao

the breaker/parry thing pissed me off to know end, while moving backwords and then trying to block against a forthcoming enemie it would force a perry, which i hated too much. being a hardcore MKD fan i played a certain way.

i also noticed that MKA is too god damn even, no matter how good you are the matches are always close opposed to mkd where i was like 400 wins and 20 losses legit. i dont know what it was, but something about mka isnt right. its a great game and the concept was sweet. and konquest deffinately beats tekken5's devil within.

but the kart racing, LMFAO im not even saying shit about that.

i think that with a well thaught out fighting system with no bs mini games and stupid side tracks and no "we diddn't have time to do_______" then we will see mk8 arrive with a kick ass new look and feel recreating thos old days in the arcade and on the snes.

if not..... then let me be the first to say

R.I.P

MK

1991- MK4 (whenever that was) LOL

after all..... tekken 6 looks sweet.... :P

Deception had way more than Armageddon did if you think of playability

its not how many characters you have, its how you use them.
