I'd love to see him back, but I doubt he's in Deception. Probably they'll bring him back in MK 7.

midway doesn't want to tell us now the other characters who will be in mk 6. but I think Rain can return in mk 6.
the reason that I want him back is that I have no information about him. only that I know is that he is a ninja

First of all, in my opinion if all the ninjas in the MK universe were in the one MK game I would not mind as long as they weren’t cheap pallet swaps without original moves of their own. I don’t really see a point in bagging the presence of ninjas since they all have their own look now anyway.

Secondly, I’m not too sure about Rain. How many ‘1 run’ characters can be brought back in the same game?? I’m not saying he shouldn’t be back and if Raiden isn’t in this game it’s probably his best opportunity to return but something tells me that there would be a few names higher than him on the list to return before he does. Perhaps if Liu Kang wasn’t occupying 2!!! character slots (if that’s true) he could be squeezed in.

I would like to see Chameleon return although he was a secret character in MKT.

Chameleon never had a story in MKT... perhaps they could say what he did in MKT and explain who he is etc.

as I said I want that Rain returns in mk 6, so I can know him a Little more, about personality,his background, his status, his mission, his impotance in the story

how do we know Liu is taking up two spots?....maybe spirit and zombie just refer to his alternate costumes.....or, he appears as a spirit in the game and a zombie on Konquest or vice versa....who knows.....don't just flat out assume Liu Kang will have 2 spots on the character select screen......

I don’t think that Liu Kang’s spirit and zombie will take two spots, that would definitely be a complete waste. I mean one spot for one Liu Kang is a waste already.

As for Rain, I don’t mind if he comes back but if he does then I want him and all the other ninja’s to be unique. And I want more characters then (like Sonya, Cage, Jax and Raiden) to mix up the ninja’s so it’s not an all ninja game.

obviously if anyone has read a lot of these threads, they know im not a fan of having this many ninjas, mainly because it leaves out several characters, including my favorite, Cyrax

want some irony? as much as I hate this many ninjas...the only ninja I like is Rain, but of course we end up with Smoke and Noob...MKDA ruined a lot of characters because they changed their original moves...and also because all of its ripoffs...Cyrax lost his net, Sonya pretty much lost her gymnastic moves, Frost and Sub Zero kind of took the uniqueness of Sub Zero away, Jarek in the past downed Kano's status, the reason I brought this up is because Ermac and Kenshi are in this game...which means one is pointless and wasting space, or one has to change his moves, which takes away how we looked at him n the past games or game...

and for goodness sake...Chameleon? well, they should of just put him in the game instead of all these ninjas, since he changed to them, he was pointless and there is plenty of people who could fill that spot...

but, for the people who love all these ninjas, you may be happy that their favoritism got them in the game...but the more ninjas, the better the chance of them dying...

yes there is but since they are already having every single past ninja in the game already, rain is the only one missing, so i think he might be in it.

I've said it before, and now once again. It will be one big low blow to Rain if he is the only "palleted ninja" left out of the game. I think he's always had potential, and with this new game I think he could finally kick some serious ass. I loved him in UMK3 and MKT and I think it's time for the Rain Man to make his return.

Rain shouldn't be in MKd unless he has a better story and a total revamp like the other ninjas. He was a fairly weak character imo and I'd prefer others in his place. Although, with a change, I wouldn't mind seeing him back.

I wouldn't want him along with Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Ermac, Noob Saibot, and Smoke. Plus, I have this sneaking suspicion that Reptile will be in this game somehow. Perhaps as a sub boss? Just a complete guess on my part.

I'll say this however, I'd much much rather see Rain in this game than Noob Saibot. I mean, c'mon, it's the creators names backwards!! If that's not lame...
