im a fan of the NON special cover. The one with the Dragon King's picture on it. I wish Midway Did something along the lines of a special edition like Halo 2. Where there is a outer cover box...
Deception COULD OF HAD an outer shell cover box with the cool graphics, and then you open it up to find the game to be just like it is, but with a 2nd dvd case with the extra features.
Thoughts?

I would like the special edition with the normal cover as an option. I almost didnt get the special edition just so that I could get the DK cover, but then changed my mind...since I want the extras.

I'm buying the normal copy.
I have more versions of MK1 available to play than I can shake a stick at... as do all of you.
I don't need a metal trading card.
I can see the special player bio's for free via IGN.
The sub-cover looks neat and all, but he's not the reason I like the series. I'll be happy with the dragon logo, and saving 10 bux.

I am getting it, just to see what its like. And unfortunately my SNES is long deceased, and I haven't played MK1 for years now. I wouldn't mind paying an extra 10 bucks to have it, instead of having to go through all the trouble of finding another SNES and an SNES copy of MK1.
Then the cover is just a side note for me to have, along with the other stuff.

I'm not
Was going to get the Mileena copy, but here's my take on it
the Mileena cover can only be found at TRU....TRU is too much of a bitch for me to get to in order for me to snag this cover. The "extra bios" are a waste of money since we can get all of them online eventually
the mk1 copy is useless because mk 1 looks pitiful next to mk2
10 dollars extra to put towards mk treasures 2
who cares about the card
the regular copy cover looks cooler

the only reason i woulda gotten it would be for the raiden cover and thats x-box only. also i dont need a metal card, mk1, or 25 bios. its kinda pointless for me. like i said before the raiden cover woulda been worth it (dont like the sub zero one...its kinda badly proportioned) if they had used the sub zero render where he is holding the iceball in one hand i woulda thought twice but they put the stupuid pic on there.

My thoughts exactly. I liked the DK cover with the MK symbol in the background much more. It just suits MKD more then any of those character covers can. But I wanted MK1 and ever since it was taken off MAT2 I had no other choice but to get the Kollector's Edition.
Otherwise evertyhing else in the KE is kinda worthless to me. I'm paying the 10$ extra all of MK1.

Ill probably get the normal because I dont know where to get the special edition in australia.

I was going to get the special edition of deception for MK1, but now I've got MK1-UMK3 on MAME, so I don't give a shit anymore. I'll just get the regular copy.

I will be buying the regular copy too,as others have said the extras don't really intrest me and MK1 is emulated on mame or the 16 bit consoles,so y bother paying more for a different cover(as the other stuff doesn't really interest me)that doesnt look as good as the normal one?

I'm laughing at you, not with you.

So can you get the SPECIAL EDITION in stores when the regular one comes out?
I was thinking about going to Target(for example) and just asking for the Special Edition, could I do it?

I think you can buy the special edition after it comes out. I didn't think so until I went and preordered it. I dunno. I think its pretty cool, you get MK1, I wonder if that will be available for online play too?

I'm not, I don't want the extra bios and things and I rather have the normal copy. Besides I'm saving an extra $10 on the original copy so I'm only paying $39.99.
