I think she looks fun, despite negetive things people are sayin. But screw them anyway, ther the same people that don't like baraka. Stupid f#(&$s.

Well I like her anyway

She looks interesting, i'm not really "pumped" up to play as her or anything though. I'm just glad shes a new character introduced, and i'm excited to read about her story.

See a lot of people are making assumptions about her based on the fact that she looks close to Raiden. First of all she could have absolutely nothing to do with Raiden. The magazine says "Her connection to Raiden, IF ANY, remains a closely guarded secret for now" And that is a direct quote. So just because her look is similar doesn't mean a damn thing. Peronally I think she looks like she's gonna be bad ass.

I always look forward to playing as new characters, but the only pic of her i've seen is a cap from the trailer.. not very good quality.

I just wanna see what special moves she has......

Well I also do not think that she is a god (Another assumption made because she looks like You know who). We haven't seen her face yet for all we know she could be some kind of demon, or maybe an earth realm warrior, someone related in some way to Lui Kang, However this may be a long shot. Or maybe she is an elemental? If so I hope that she controls water you could come up with some pretty awsome moves for Water based powers. Not to mention the fatality possiblities.

I wouldnt say I was pumped about her. Dont know enough about her to be pumped. I do like all the speculation about her though. there doesnt seem to be much about Hotaru so I think she will be an interesting character if she is creating a lot of controversy and speculation already.

I cant say Im "pumped" to play as her. I remember being really "Pumped" to play as Cyrax in DA before it came out, and look at how good he ended up, lol. I'm going to have my reserve for every character until I can actually play the game.

On a side note, I think Hotaru looks pretty damn bad ass.

Yeah, I'm definitely more excited about Hotaru than Ashrah. I personally don't like the way Ashrah looks, it's just too plain. She could be really cool in other ways (special moves, her weapon etc) but as for her look, I'm not enthralled by it. Obviously I'll reserve final judgement until I've actaully played as her, but as of right now, I can't say she looks all that interesting to me.
