Anyone really think Scorpion won't be in MK6

I dont know for sure. But ED BOON had said that he would never make an MK without SCORPION and SUB-ZERO. According to me SCORPION should be given a break this time.The story could go like "after being sucked in the SOULNADO, he somehow managed to get free and disappeared in the netherealm where he went into hiding and regained enough energy to face QUAN CHI, SHANG-TSUNG and the DRAGON KING" or something like that.

scorpion would probaly be in every mortal kombat now, since eh is the top favorite of what, 3749421.463255% of mk fans, though, i wouldnt let him back in mk6, though thats just my opinion

he is in every mk except the original mk3....fans got pissed off, which is why he returned umk3.....being a scorp fan...he does deserve a break...cos the mk after 6 he will be back as a pure unstoppable badass...make the fans anxious even more for his return...it would be cool to see him as a hidden character to fight against in the next mk

I am a great one fan of Scorpion, although he is not one of my preferred fighters, question is not if it returns in the MK6 (he would be very strange that did not do it) but as it returns, like pricipal fighter, fighter to unlock, or as secret fighter (I prefer this last option)

The guy's gotten the shaft in just about all of his endeavors. I say he deserves a spot in every MK game from here on in at the very least. Besides, he's a spectre. It can't be that hard to write him into each game no matter how royally screwed he was in the last one.

haha, i think you'r right man.
i think he's pretty much here to stay...

though to be honest i think i'd rather see him hit the bench for a little and be replaced by smoke for a round.

Watch, scorpion is on the beach getting a tan. Smoke comes around all brusied up with a cast.
Scorpion:(takes off sunglasses) Whats wrong with you?
Smoke: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh(callopes on the beach).
Scorpion:.....,oh well. Must not be important.(goes back to having a tan drinking a margaritia).

While some of you make valid points, The most realistic reason for scorpions continued exsistance is the fact that he is Ed Boon's favorite character, and most likely will not make a game without scorpion in it. Sales, and popularity aside, the devloper probbly would not exclude his favorite character, Ed Boon is no exception.
