Sorry to say it but that really doesn't make much sense, and it would kinda clog the game up, don't ya think? That would be WAY too many characters and it would be damn near impossible for the MK team to keep them all fresh. You'd have way too many repeats and knockoffs. Hell, their already starting to repeat some fatals like Nightwolf's "Splitting Headache" (Kung Lao) and Bo Rai Cho's "Toasty(s)".
Now I'm not saying that all of them *won't* be unlockable, in fact, I'm hoping that a few with decent story potential for MK:D ie, Kahn and Kitana, will be in the game as Super Unlockables.

Actually, I had been tossing around something like this for some time now. It sounds like a good idea, but if anything, they may just not use detailed skins, and just slap a bunch of fighting styles on them. Things like that. That is, if it does happen.

Knowing the team; I doubt it; but I do smell a MK Trilogy 2!!!

i think it's damn possible that a few of them will be unlockable...sektor looks like he could be an in game model....and i've yet to see a pic with kahn in it so i can't judge.....but i'm hoping that they will be in....it would be a nice pat on the back by the mk team if it's done instead of the swift kick in the nuts that is noob smoke

i dont think they'll be unlockable at all (but i hope they do)...i remeber in MK2 when sonya and kano where chained up and we where all hoping they woold be unlockable......same here we hope but no unlockables (at least all of them anyway).

I think some of them will be. Maybe about 6 or 8.

Hold on a sec there big dogs. I never said that was going to happen. I just want to know if anyone actually believes that all the cell guys are going to be unlockables. Personally, I only can see about 6-8 myself. And there's only a few with new models.
Theoretically, there's no reason why all of them couldn't be in. I think there are plenty of ideas thrown around to keep all of them fresh. It's just a matter of laziness. Look at the pallet swaps and awsome, hardcore characters like: Meat, Blaze and Mokap. Boon did say that they were spending most of their time on an assload of content, but knowing MK's track record, I stand at 6-8.
