The rage thing is going to be a big part of this game I think what with the rage meter, etc and so the fact people commit brutalitys/fatalitys while there are "enraged" is a way of explaining them commiting acts out of the ordinary for them. Thus despite not really liking it, I don't think it'll be going away so I'll just ignore it

Commiting acts that are out of the ordinary for them? The MK characters were always a bunch of murderous bastards. So suddenly putting someone on fire is out of the ordinary for Scorpion? That's bullshit if you ask me. Or Batman using Bats? Yeah, he's never done that before... Where's a rolleyes smiley if you need it?

The eye glow is just distracting and ruins IMO the finishers. They could explain through the story that the characters are somehow affected by the merge without relying on stupid visuals like glowing eyes.

Of course Shao Khan and Darkseid are going to playble! Ed Boon even said it! The only people you can't play as is people in cutscenes that you don't fight. And yes, glowing eyes will always be in everyone fatality/brutality.

Yeah the glowing eyes fit a few characters like Scorpion and maybe Shang Tsung, but they seem pretty out of place for characters like Superman and Sonya.

A very un-necessary trait to have in a fatality IMO. It just detracts from everything. I remember having to watch the Joker's fatality twice because the first time, I couldn't stop concentrating on his eyes. Please Midway, it's not too late....ditch the glowing eyes!

You're right, the glowing eyes are horrible - especially on the good guys. It's like they're possessed or something. Yeeech!

I HATE those glowing-fire eyes on the characters because they make NO sense.

I mean, if they actually decided to follow Sonya's MKA ending, were she received "piro-kinetic" powers (burning stuff with her mind/eyes), then that would be awesome...but she would have to BURN the people with her eyes or something.

But it's so stupid to think about some characters (Jax, Sonya, Wonderwoman, Catwoman, Sub-Zero, Joker, Liu Kang, Kitana, Kano, C. M, etc.) with burning eyes for no reason. It doenst suit the majority of the cast.

It sucks.

Since when does Midway keep consistency with the story? doubt they will follow Armageddon's endings, as they are really just "what if" scenarios.

It really doesn't make sense for about 95% of the characters. If the yellow eyes has anything to do with the Rage mode, then there should be an option to turn it off in the options.

I know it's really a minor detail, but if I plan on playing this game years from now, it's still going to bother me seeing it everytime a fatality is performed. Take for instance Joker's fatality, I loved the fatality but was bothered by the stupid eyes. It just has to go.

We only see what 3 fatalitys? so who knows.
