Some people will only have Xbox live, and others will only have PS2 online.

My xbox is chipped and i cannot be bothered with a chip change so i won't be able to use my own xbox to play online. But if i think i am that good i will use a friends xbox live to challenge.

However I dont think i'll play it enough to be all that good. I know i was a great player back in the days of MK2

the funny thing about the shit talkers (like above) is that the odds that they have played people in their home that are as obsessed with this game as the people here is very very slim. You basically have the experts of the game on here. So to say your going to kicc anyone's ass is just stupid.

As good as you think you are, there is always some one better, and major message boards like this are breeding growns for some of the best MK players in the world.

Not everyone here is going to be the same skill level as your best friend who only plays MK when you beg him to. The competition will be fierce, more fierce than anything any of us have had to deal with (in a MK game) since back when it was only out for the arcades... and some of you little Baby Nuts aint goin' be ready.

I am Dirtystankbutter and I will be the one losing online the most. I got my ass handed to me at e3 and I know I will be getting spanked online. No shznit talking here. I will play and lose and maybe sometimes win. But I know for everyone that thinks they are good, there is someone out there that can spank them. Yeah, I agree with much of what 34_thatruth_34 has to say, but the whole "trash talkers really suck" stereotype is just a load of horse sh*t in my opinion. I don't talk trash with strangers (unless it's totaly light hearted) because it makes you sound like a low class @ss hole regardless how good or bad you play.

It really has nothing to do with your gaming ability though. Some of the sickest gamers that I have ever played against in all different game genra's online, were also some of the biggest trash talkers in creation, and visa versa.

It's just that trash talkers get the most notoriety for a veriety of reasons. The many little punk bedwetters- who sometimes seem to talk trash with every breath- sure as sh*t don't help set an example for other kids either.

I'll only play online if myself and the opponent agree to random select. I haven't mastered all the characters in a game since MKII, but I'm certainly going to give it a go in MK:DA.

im not that great with mk because i dotn get the time i need to play it much, but the character im best with is scorpion, and i've beaten all my friends, but im not gonig to lie and act all tough [like alot of people i know... maybe some of them are on this board] i admit i would get my ass kicked by alot of you guys, but i'd only play online for fun, not to prove myself to anyone, but i sadly cant play online, for quite a few reasons actually, i have no way of connecting my ps2 or xbox to my cpu and play online with them... and my cpu is only 56k, and i have a dial-up internet, so it'dbe completely impossible to enjoy online play even if i could

I'm looking forward to the online matches. I've already challenged several people and I can't wait to use Sindel, Mileena, Ashrah and others! It'll be a nice test now being able to challenge real MK players rather than those around me who don't know how to play. I'm ready to prove myself. If I get beaten in the process, it's all part of the journey.

I would most likely get a spanking over the net. Although I won't be playing online, I personally thing that Mortal Kombat online just isn't right.

Ok how the hell can you claim to be the best without proof until it comes out you can't say your the best and sorry I won't be able to whoop some of your guy's ass but thats cool unless you have a PS2 or can get one I don;t have online yet but I will by Christmas when I get my DSL.

Well ahh It's easy for anyone to say that there good and all that jazz but im good but far from being amazingly kick ass like i was in mk2 but im a decentlly awsome fighter in MKDA but i dont have PS2Online and i dont have 100 bucks to fish out for it anyway cause not all of us are rich hell im still waiting for the call to get a job. Great thread Scorpio.. I was going to type one up like this the other day, but couldnt figure out how to word it as "friendly" as you did, and didnt want the skull points, lol. BTW, are you going to be on XB or PS? Im pretty sure u said you were PS. Thats where the majority of the shit talking is going to come from, people not being able to play others on the opposite system.. I know i did ALOT of shit talking about DA when it came out, and for the exception of a few of you, I have not had the oppurtunity to back it up yet (Due to the unwillingness of myself and others to travel to far). I just purchased a DSL modem/service not to long ago, mainly so i can play this game online when it comes out. I also plan on buying MKD for both systems (which i already own) when it comes out. So am I ready to step up?? Shit, Im already at the plate and waiting for your slow ass pitch. lol

I thought xbox connect was just for games that have system link capabilities (to reduce split screens)? If so, i dont think MKD will have a system link capability because of the fact using 2boxes/tvs has no advatage.
