I was thinking that maybe MK6 could include specails that destroy the arena like in DBZ Budokai. For example Sub-Zero could have a special where he would form a huge ball of ice and drop it on the opponent causing maximum damage to opponent and destroying the stage. Granted it wasn't that good of a example but you get the idea. So tell me what you think, and add what ever you like.

Dama, this is something I've always thought would be a great element to include. You've got the right concept. I wish they could find some creative way to implement something like that.

No... I don't think there should be arena destroying attacks. The fighters in Mortal Kombat are strong as hell but they should never have that kind of strength or power. Though small scale damage would be kind of cool like leaving a small crater or something.

There was talk of a more interactive arena by ed boon, wasnt there? just wondering. I think he said something like, thats just the beginning.

No way bad idea...what's next, everyone that charges up power becomes blond and does nothing else then shout? Or fire a kamehameha (or something like that).

If you hit a wall with a fireball shouldn't it do something?
At least leave a burn mark, or a small hole something, not just fizzle out like nothing.
I like how you can destroy statues in MKDA.

More interactive environments in general, damage to the background, blood splatting on the walls, weapons. Hell I would be happy with levels that were not all flat and not all the same shape and size!

Small amounts of damage would be cool, like cracks, burn marks, etc. in the floor and walls, and more interactive elements like the statues in MKDA.

I don't know about destroying the whole environment. It would be cool if the invisible walls on the stages could be broken in parts if a character is knocked into them enough. Then possiblities like stage fatalities would open up.

I wasn't thinking of the entire stage, but the arean itself, but not with regular projectiles. These would be extremely strong blasts can be done only once per fight. I really think something like this would really be cool in MK6. A good example is rain's lightning attack...remember, now imagine a lightning bolt 10 times bigger and stronger hitting you, that would be awesome as hell.
I have an idea for a stage fatality and interaction, like a torture chamber level where there is like corpses chained to the wall and torture devices like a guilottene or that device where they stretch you out with the ropes. the floor could have this gutter you know in the middle of the floor where theres holes in it. well water could flow in it. if you knock people into the floor with powerful moves the floor would crack. do it enough the floor would crumble and you both fall through into a sewer level where the water is knee high.
as for the stage fatality you could have two choices kicking someone into a guilotene and kicking the switch chopping the opponents head off, or throwing somone on the stretch table and chain him down and crank the thing enough untill the guy gets ripped in half. the TORTURE CHAMBER, that would be a sick level, it could be Drahmin's signiture stage if hes in it.
