@Booya-Xbox 360 is the best gaming console out there, and PS3 is the real piece of crap lol, don't you know why there are lack of PS3's sold? not enough exclusives, and 360 is cheaper, I have both 360 and PS3 and I play my 360 95% of the time and PS3 5% of the time lol, thats how bad the PS3 is.


Anyways back on topic. I will be giving MK vs DC a chance, but only one from DC side I would play as would be superman and the Joker if hes in it, so ya I will be getting MK vs DC.

No, It has not been confirmed yet, but most likely The Joker might be on the DC roster for MK vs DC.

So they crossover with a comic without core characters. There are probably more credible characters in the first MK than DC. Credible as in not having 10types of superman i.e. Superboy, Supergirl, Superwomen.. blah, blah, blah...And you're rightRed, Joker has no special powers but funny face with sick mind.

Small cast compared to Marvel? Dude, do you know how many people are in total via the Justice League? It's way more then the X-men and Avengers...it's staggering, but much like Marvel some characters are more popular then others in DC.

Most people probably assume the basic original 7 JL, but god knows there's way more then that in the full JL now.

Boon said in some newer interviews that you guys should check out at videog and gametrailers that it will be a mix of good MK guys, good DC guys and bad DC guys and bad MK guys...

I'm betting storyline wise the good guys like Raiden, Fujin, Sub-Zero etc will team up with the JL Batman, Superman etc while the same will most likely happen to the other side. Darkseid and Shao Kahn might make some kind of alliance or something, I can see something like this happening in the story mode.

BTW, also not sure if you guys know or not but Boon also said that in the storyline mode you'll have a "tag team" mode in it where you choose one MK character, one DC supposedly. It's in one of the newer interviews since Boon is getting asked by literally every main game site, gamespot, gametrailers, IGN, videogam etc, etc you have to read them all.

Also, in the gametrailer one he says that they'll go for 10-11 character each side and also that they tried the idea of mixing up or crossing over with SF and some other fighters but didn't go anywhere and ran into road blocks...so marketing pitched the idea to midway well...what about DC comics? They've never really been involved in anything big in the video game world why not? The rest is history.

Yeah but boon said they would all be "recognizable" characters. The justice league is friggin huge. A lot of those people most casual fans wont know. I have a feeling we'll see a lot of the poster boy types (basic justice league) and villains from batman and superman (bane, joker, doomsday, etc.).

I have 3 freinds that own 360's 2 of them dont play games do to recalls,and the other one got his for x-mas.i had another buddy who's x-box was messed up right out of the box with read erors i am not joking.

I had the chance to buy my buddys 360 that wont read disks anymore for 80$ but i wouldnt know what the fuck to do with a broken POS.There controllers are a joke for fighting games.

And Booya Xbox 360 wins as "Ultimate Console". GOW2 will be better then any PS3 game coming out this year lol. MGS4 might even make it to the xbox 360 due to the lack of PS3's.

MKF, do you honestly think Wii is better than PS3 and X360? From technical perspective, they're not even in the same league. Wii is driven by hype generated by the controller. It's the console for real gamers. To put it simple, if you want to play real games, all you would need is an XBOX 360 or a PS3 but you will miss out on so much if you just have a Wii. That's because core developers will consider developing games for XBOX 360 and PS3 wayyy before the Wii.

Xbox 360 and PS3 are for real gamers, and wii is for kids. Silly rabbit Wii is for kids lol. Xbox 360 online is better then PS3's, and PS3 is way better then the wii.

The controller hype I'll admit was a bit overdone however it works well so I can't argue with Nintendo for going all out, and now you have lol PS3 trying to copy with their own "wave motion" 3rd party controllers. They already tried with that dumb airplane game and failed horribly....and not PS3 is taking the whole market place, with soon to have downloadable movies etc that the 360 has.

Honestly, if you read about the console wars etc M$$ and Nintendo don't hate each other like Sony and Nintendo do or M$$ and Sony does...

I'm not saying they're "allies" or anything but they respect each other a lot more then Sony I think. There's also been games that M$ and nintendo have both worked on for the DS, you'll never see Sony have involvement with those two lol

There was also a huge rumor and almost happened but didn't get green light with Halo DS but unfortunately it didn't happen.

I disagree with the core developers and 3rd party this time around, you see the GC lacked in 3rd party support, good games and online...not the case this time around with the wii as you can see.

Also, if anything dude they're bailing more on Sony this around and supporting Nintendo and M$$ more. Just look at Sony's line up lol it's pathetic compared to the other two and finally this year have some decent games coming out like GTA(which will be on 360), MGS and Haze which will help Sony but I don't believe it'll be enough to "push them over the top" honestly. They trail Nintendo in Japan by a 3-1 margin last time I checked and are flat out last in the USA region....

Besides, developers like the wii's capabilities which the other two lack with interactiveness, creativity and gameplay with the wii remote. I have to admit, there's lots of wii games I love with it and Check with his vids recently told me that he enjoys the wii version on MKA with the remote...I tried it once it's awesome, definitely a new element.

Then there's the sports titles which hands down are way better from a gameplay point of view on the wii vs. the other two. To push 4 buttons generation after generation gets a little old sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, I still prefer the button controller for fighting games and the wii offers that too so that's what I like about it, for appropriate games it offers you plenty of controller options

I'm a Nintendo guy but also like xbox because of the great online play. I hate Sony, always have and always will...and this time, they're not winning crap.

You see MKF, I don't hate Sony or Nintendo nor do I have any special love for Microsoft. I've bought about 3 XBOX 360s in about 3years. 1 for PAL, one for Toronto and the last one for Halifax. Every single time I weighted up my options before deciding. I was close to buying PS3 but held out because of lack of games. I believe that would change. It'd be the reverse of what happened with the original XBOX and PS2.

With regards to Wii... It is technically inferior and that's what I'm basing my judgment on. Nor is it easy to program games for it. The controller is all wonderful but this is 2008, a console should do more than just play games. I want it to be my entertainment centre.

Yes, the wii is inferior in terms of graphics but that's it...it plays really well online in fact better then Sony does and at times nearly as good as Xbox and it's for free...no gameshark cheats like Sony allows and it's fun.

There's not one bowling game for Sony, Xbox or many sports titles that play better then Wii sports dude, it's insanely addicting. And the realism of the bowling(being that I bowl for real), golf, baseball and tennis are just amazing.

Graphics aren't everything, look at PS3. To some people it's the "best graphically" even better then some 360 games but is that selling? Not at all, you need GOOD games and this time Nintendo has delivered, the GC didn't...
