I've been trying to get a Wii for about 6months now. I can't find one anyway and the ones on eBay are selling for the price of PS3. hell no to that!

I want Wii so I can engage VK when she's around. She can't seem to see the beauty of X360. That's why Wii is selling so much because ladies, old folks and the young all want to get involved. But personally, I hate the fact that Wii can't even play my DVDs, I can't stream media to it, online feature is limited. Those shits are important to me but I see the argument for Wii. However, the sales figure by no means makes it the best console. Sales has nothing to do with it though. Just like PS2 sold more than the XBOX but I still regarded the XBOX to be the better console.

Is there any plan to release MKDC for Wii? I don't know if it's capable of supporting UR engine.

Ice due, I didn't tell you.. Over the past two weeks, I've acquired a PS3 and Wii for my entertainment centre. I have Assassin Creed, Madden, NHL, NBA, Fight Night 3 and Fifa on the PS3. On Wii, I have Wii sports and Super Smash Bros. The sad thing is I don't even think I'll have to time to play and of these shit at least till July. Wii Tennis is full though.

My next target is to obtain a copy of Metroid Prime 3 for Wii. Then I'll be set to kill the summer! Thanks for the heads up dude!

BTW, the wii doesn't have complicated disc problems? That only happened with some wii owners with SSBB, I know a bunch of friends online from here that have it and have no problems and one of my best buds who also has all 3 consoles, never had a problem

If MK8 you mean with the UR engine, it's been rumored that they'll make some kind of MK8 game with a similar engine to MKA or MK:SM but this is of course just speculation and rumors.

I think we've argued about a million times about the Wii. I take back some of the negative stuff I said. But I still won't swap it for neither the 360 or PS3. It serves the purpose of entertaining homies when we're stuck in the house. I have to say if you're a serious gamer it should be your last choice.



I honestly can't tell you whether or not I'm happy. Gaming takes fricken time! I wanted the PS3 because of Blu Ray, but those fricken disks cost alotta dollars (25bucks).. F'k that! I might rent some from Blockbuster or something to get the feel of the quality

I got mine from HMV. I spent months looking across Canada. But then dropped by my local store and there were 8 in stock.

Moral of the story is.... Keep checking with your local stores.

How about Gamestops or EB dude? or possibly Toys R us? They tend to get shipments in but sell out fast.

Best Buy takes forever lol or gets in like 10 wiis then sell out...I like shopping there for music, movies etc but one thing I don't shop there for are consoles ha, ha

just get one off ebay, like i did. best thing i ever did, came with prime 3, costed 340 altogether wii 250 prime 50, shipping 30... only paid 10 bucks more and didnt have to worry about nothing. even if there is something wrong with the wii, you can send it to nintendo and i think they fix them..

but

i was only typing in wii console. and i mean, shit. all i wanted it for was prime 3. so one day i decided to type in wii console with metroid prime 3, and there was only 3 or so auctions. none of which were on any of the front pages, i would venture to say they were in the 100's... possibly last pages.

and the dude had it where you could straight up buy it for a price, no auctioning required, and voila,l i had myself a wii. and also destroyed mkda in the process ; )

i bought used ps2 controllers from ebay, one didnt work and the other only lasted a couple months... damnit i know i bought something else too... cant remember, but i ordered a elvis tie for my moms boyfriend, which worked out fine, noone else even bid on it, lol.

its just sad that it has to come to that with the wiis, where you have no choice but to buy it on ebay. it worked out for me, so im glad. just damn, reminds me of the days of snes...
