Maybe she's related to Sindel and Kitana and Sindel asks for her assistance in helping her rescue Kitana. As payment, Sindel will offer her survices to assist Ashrah is finding Oni and demons.

Maybe Sindel and Raiden had it off and Ashrah was the result. It would explain why Raiden wasn't around in MK3. He was off shoplifting the pooty.

I would probably think Ashrah is Kitana and Raiden's daughter, but realistically speaking, if that were true, then Ashrah would probably be no older than 10. But then again, Raiden's a deity, so you never know.

And Kitana's no youngun either. She's at least a thousand years old as far as I can recall.

Either way, I dig the storyline of Raiden scoring with Outworld babes and bringing forth kickass offspring like Ashrah.

Even if it doesn't actually happen that way.

Ashrah is no the daughter of anybody. She's a new character, probably connected to Raiden or the elder gods.

I was not only taking into account Kitana's age, but I also took into account the fact that Kitana was on Shao Kahn's side and did not turn against him until sometime during MK2, and by that time, she had already reached the 10,000-year-old mark. And there's really no way one of them could've raped the other. I'm sure Raiden would never stoop that low, and if Kitana even tried to do that to Raiden, she'd only get her ass kicked by a pissed-off Thunder God.

Ok, so I was off by 9,000 years. I'm sure Kitana would take it as a compliment (I know you're 10,000 years old but you don't look a day past 1,000).

I know it's probably nothing, but the fun of speculation is that you can think up all sorts of crackpot theories and then watch the games prove them all wrong.
Hey, maybe Raiden is why Kitana decided to join the Earth realm warriors in the first place. He was probably badmouthing Shao Kahn all the time, and she had probably had enough of Kahn's taunting. "You are fat, Kitana!" "You suck, Kitana!" "You will never win, Kitana!"
But then there was this new guy she met. Very cute, although when he fought he sounded like a live chicken in a food processor.

All I have to say is that Ashrah looks awesome!

Agreed! She does look amazing!

I do not believe she is in any way related to Kitana, but possibly Raiden although I doubt it.

I hope she isn't! Her trying to kill Raiden would really annoy me! Although if she doesn't succeed, then that's ok.

Ashrah's face reminds me alot of Gina Gershon. The dark haired dancer in "Showgirls"

Hmmmm, I dont really see it Tgrant. There is a small resemblance, but not much. I wouldnt mind if she had a relation to Kitana. Maybe she is her real twin sis? Lol, yea rite. But ne ways, Ashrah looks awesome and I cant wait to play as her.
