I work at a retravision store in WA and have checked with my supplier the retail prices on MKvsDC
XBOX 360 - $99.95
Playstation 3 -$109.95
why the PS3 version is dearer i dont know?
no official release date as yet but as soon as i know i will post it here,
Also no word on a collectors edition in australia yet but im hoping so, but we didnt get one for MKA so maybe we wont, ill keep yas posted
Australians tend to get forgotten about in the gaming world so i will do my best to keep you guys posted. EDIT: The release date i have been given is 14th of november 2008 This i can't wait for

What a rip-off. Doesn't matter anyway, since I don't even have a next-gen console yet. I'll just wait till both are cheap.

Kano, Jeffry McWild, Marduk... Those Yanks and Japs better watch it!
They upset the rising Australian power in these games, and they'll be doooooomed! Struth! The Aussies deserve a fair go! Blooy hell, mate!

... Those prices are Australian dollars. Not US.
Traditionally Aus prices are numerically double after shipping, but with the Australian dollar doing quite well, and the US dollar doing especially poor, it actually is a bit rough.
Australians could save themselves thirty-something dollars (Aus) buying from the US, but unfortunately shipping is about that anyway, so there's not a lot of point, unless you're buying in bulk (or have someone physically carrying it).

Well I started seeing second-hand copies of MKA like 2-3 weeks after its release, so maybe if this fares just as well guys like you and me can pick MKvsDCU up for cheap
Wow!!!
That's expensive.
LOL, the mka part is kind of depressing. I hope they dont repeat the same mistakes of that game. (We love you Mk team! and no, Im not being sarcastic, I have faith in you guys

i'm in washington too. north of seattle. Wa state representin! and the only reason for the australian pricing may have something to do with their content rating laws. didn't it have something to do with gta san andreas? i'd blame the british.

LOL to Aussie prices. Just buy an NTSC system off ebay, and get ur games there to. Lot better, plus you can play on US servers.

yeah we could buy an american system and buy american games and play on the american servers but australia's broadband speeds arent quite upto par with the US so we would get major lag and get absolutely owned

JTF is from UK, and he has a NTSC system and MKA. He says the gameplay is rather smooth for him. Maybe Aussies might get lucky?
