I'm not expecting an GC release of MK:D until at least Easter 2005 (Australia). Being a bit of an optimist, I see the NTSC version being released late Jan-mid Feb 2005 for GC.

I'm calling November for PS2 & XBox versions to be released down here, though.

Anyway I sent an e-mail to Midway asking about the release date. Here it is

Yes using this shows I am Australian. As an Australian I am confused as Australia doesn't have an official release date for the game Mortal Kombat: Deception. I've heard the dates October 29 for New Zealand, Nov 5 for the PAL version in both Europe and Australia and Janurary 1 from EB games Australia. I am asking for the release date in Australia. Australia always has to wait longer for games. This really dissapoints me as a gamer. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is a great example of this.

So may I ask when is the release date of Mortal Kombat: Deception in Australia ?

Any news on a collectors edition release in Australia ?

I have been playing MK since the start. I have grown up with MK and at 17. I am hoping to see my loyalty and many other peoples loyalty rewarded by the date being similar to the Euro release date.

Thank you for contacting Midway Games. Sorry I cannot give you an actual release date at this time. As you have seen, release dates will fluctuate to some degree until we get closer to the actual release date. More information will become available following the US release.

So since young Claire here doesn't know a release date for Australia. Maybe EB are just putting that as a date so they can take pre-orders.

Sorry for the dp but this needs a bump as I have new info on it.

I went to EB today and the guy said he was a big MK fan too. He said that he has heard many dates but the one he had was in Jan and it is expected to be pushed back to FEB. When he said that it broke my back. I also told him about Noob Smoke, you should have seen the look on his face.lol

Noob Smoke is a bad idea. They had different storylines that wouldnt land them up together.
