When the first few screenshots of Baraka were released, it looked like the blades would only be used in specials like in the 2d MKs. However, in one of the newer screenshots Baraka is fighting the Joker and his blades are out, but he is not performing a special. Seeing as this game does not have multiple fighting styles, will this mean that Barakas's blades are out all the time? If so than how exactly will klose kobat work with him?

you know, I was thinking the same exact thing. if they were to be out in close combat, then, well, someone better get ready for a very brutal ass kicking. lol. I like the idea

He was probably using a special move against joker cause he only had one blade out.

No, both blades are shown, the other one is just kinda hard to see.

Hmmm, klose kombat he should slash them with the blades instead of punching them.(if this is the case)

And i wonder what they would do with his freefall kombat?

Well Boon did say some of the close combat moves would be considered special moves... such as Catwoman scratching, Scorpion giving a brutal beatdown, I'd figure Baraka would just slice the opponent up a bit.

Well I guess that makes sense, but also if Baraka's blades are out all the time, would that mean he doesn't have any kind of punches?

I think Baraka's blades should only be for special moves. But if they're out normally in the game that's fine by me.glasses
