They said in Kano's ending in MK1 that if the tournaments had come to a stop or were corrupted in some way this would happen.
Possibly MK6 could be the final huge war? They could base it on the Tekunin, Dragon Army,, Vampires, Lin Kuei and the Special Forces all going at it in a massive fight.
that's what i was thinkin of, like all the realms would surround the outworld, and all the battles would take place threre, of course the battle will spew into other realms like edenia and earth. it would be awsome seing the shokan fighting the centaurs and the lin kuei against the red dragon and the forces of light against the dragon king. it would be awsome and could go well with a storyline mode in the next mk.
