Thanks Mindripper. Check the various martial arts thread, I wrote the technique that Muay thay utilizes as lethal offense, forgot its name tough.
I dind't wrote it there, but the muay thay is heavy on moves that doesn't strike at pressure points, nor bones, but disable organs temporarely. A common attack in a real fight is a rarely seen punch/strike at the lungs from the side (sideeffect, ribcage broken, boneshards rupture internal organs). But yes, you're right, muay thay is more endurance and damage based than using finesse and critical lethality strikes like dim mak, pak mei
or koppujutsu and tameshiwari iron palm/hand.

Lotsa martial arts utilise some form of disabling technique which may or may not have been gleaned from other martial arts. for eg, even in the real world, it is a common bouncer technique to use a single knuckle and jabbing straight at the sternum. Not really a pressure point technique, but effective. Also, from what i do know about dim mak, the deadliest points are often not comonly used by other arts. FYI there are many ways of breakin ribs. you can do so by jabbin the loose ends of the last rib, through the armpit pressure points etc. The most common dim mak points which most people know about would be the temple and perhaps the point just beneath the nose. Dim mak is more than just killing. as a form of martial art it is also used to bring about certain reflex actions in others. For example, look at your wrist, on the side of the little finger. There are two extremely abvious wrinkles. There is a small bump just below the lower wrinkle, on the side of the index finger. Press it. You feel pain right? Use a single knuckle to hit it repeatedly but gently, straight into the bone. Expect a feeling of numbness if done correctly. Wrist may also bend. This dim mak point is used for easy utilisation of wristlocks and fingerlocks. Opponent clenchin the fist? Hit him once there and his fist slackens. reach in and break a finger at will. Thats what dim mak is about, more than just its famed ko and death strikes. The deadliest points of dim mak are not the temple or the area below the adam's apple, but on the side of the head. i dont think i need to elaborate more but i dont think many arts use points on the side of the ear. koppojutsu i dont know so much about so...
iron palm is extremely powerful but is not an independant style, as i said before. it is used in conjuncion with other styles. It is more of a slap than anything else, even though flexes and extensions of the palm are also used. Extremely useful in fish-style blockin. im currently conditionin my palm to do iron palm. Its pretty straightforward..
