Well I thought that It just looked that way to me...I could be offbase, and the way he's dressed really means nothing, but I just think it would fit. Plus I think there should be a boxing style in MK.

We already have a style with basically all kicks, Tae Kwon Do. Why not one with all punching. I think it would be pretty rad.

Exactly, I think Boxing would be an excellent edition it's a very powerful style and It would own if done properly.

I'd say he'd end up with Muay Thai if he did have boxing.

So far as i know, yes he has Bajar, though I can't remember what interview it was (there have been so many) Anyone know which interview has the Jax confirmation?

Hmmm, its a definite possibility. I really dont know. They throw the styles around so much, he could end up with anything. But It does sound like it could happen.

yeah I would like him to box.. or if Jax is in the game than switch styles.. Jax needs boxing and ben needs Kickboxin'.. I never want to see Jax kicking ever again

Boxing seems pretty cool, but IMO kick boxing would go alot better with him.

Besides that, i think these styles would fit nice with him:

Xingyi, Shoot Fighting, Iron Chain.



Xingyi is an agressive style and delivers early blows with rapid kicks and punches. The style controls and leads movement with the body.

Shoot Fighting is a style that involves submission grapling, Wrestling, Boxing, and Pancrase. It also involves kicks, hand strikes, takedowns, throws, and ground grappling.

The Iron Chain is like a metal whip, looking very similar to Nun-Chucks that have 7 metal chunk parts instead of 2. If you ever played TMNT-Arcade on nintendo with Michaelangelo, his weapon looks exactly the same except metal and longer. Personally, i think the Iron Chain would fit Ben because he looks like the type that would constantly swing a chain, moving back and forth, while delivering fast whips and gashes at the face.

IMO those style would go nicely with Ben.

Jax with boxing would be really good.
As for Ben I dunno. He reminds me of Johnny Cage from his first details.

Boxing for Ben? I believe that it doesn't suit him. Boxing should go to a English Lord who has a cane with a diamond at the end. Sounds weird, but MK does need a more international theme, the US, Japan and China isn't enough.

I'm not sure about what ben should have. Boxing I woyuldn't want to see. Cartmansp mentioned Kickboxing which sounds good. I don't know enough about certain styles to be able to recommend one.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Hmmm, It would seem a lot of you really aren't that sold on the Boxing idea. Oh well it was just an observation I made. Probably unlikely. But Boxing really is a great fighting style and I think someone should have it.

Ben should have Jujitsu. End of discussion. Only it should have more locks and throws.

Thibk Bens style is Karate, San Shou, and Nunchaku.

He could have Jeet Kun Do, but I bet Liu Kang will get that style along with Mantis

They aren’t graceful styles, just some ugly street fighter mechanism to defend yourself. Not artistic or inspiring IMO.

Jax should have wrestling instead of Judo IMO, and boxing instead of Muai Thai.

Judo should belong to a more agile character like Kenshi for example

If Jax gets boxing as one of this fighting styles, then he will remind me so much of T.J Combo.

I think Judo would suit him better.

gracefull? its sopposed to be a fight not a ballet. those are rude styles but anyway they look really cool, and for the strong punches and kicks they're really effective, even if they're not "graceful".
