What game are you dating back to? If your saying from MK4,Then Sareena shouldnt be up there. If your going by all of the games...I would say.

Nice new textures on them

From best to worst:

1.- Stryker

Not my fave, but still no doubt the BEST. After being such a hated character, people (like I predicted many times, even before MKD) finally took him seriously. His makeover was excellent. Like I said, its not my fave of all the makeovers, but he disserves the no1 spot for such a refreshing well-done change.

2.- Jarek

Another hated guy who was transformed into looking fantastic!

3.- Shinnok

Simply fantastic. Very evil, very elegant, very very cool! I loved this look for MKM:SB, they did an excellent job with Shinnoks superb look in this game.

4.- Rain

Perfect. Another ninja that gets out of the boring circle of pallet-swaps. His new look is excellent. Very well done.

5.- Sheeva

Her primary was excellent, but it was still too close to her alt Mk3 look. Too bad they didn’t develop her looks more. Loads could ahd been done with Sheeva.

6.- Reiko

Not really my fave, I liked him better in his Mk4 look. Still looks great.

7.- Khameleon

Not really that impressive, but like Rain, better then the boring pallet-swap looks.

8.- Fujin

Not really that good, there wasnt anything shocking, looks kind of plain IMO, but his hair IS truly fantastic! The hair suits him nicely.

9.- Sareena

Doesn’t look as great as her MKM:SB look, her face is very ugly, but I do love the white in her hair and that she looks malevolent despite being “good”.

10.- Meat:

The eye thing was AMAZING, lol. His look is not really special, but a lot better then the Mk4 one, though, in all honestly, I would had liked him to be more skinnier and not so much muscle. He is a corpse after all!

11.- Chameleon

Same as Khameleon, not really that shocking, but still kind of good.

12.- Sektor:

Is it me or does he look way too simple?

13.- Kai

You can barely see his white tattoos like in Mk4. He looked much better in that game. I hate his new hair style as well. Ugly.

14.- Kintaro:

WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO TO THE AWESOME MK2 BEAST!!!! He looks horrible, like a joke when compared to his excellent appearance in Mk2 and his MK Trilogy official drawing. He is tied with the character below to worst make-overs.

14.- Motaro

Fine, I can understand about the legs issue, but that’s no excuse for having him look so small, silly, with a fat ugly tail instead of his awesome Mk3 whip like tail and of course, they should had never taken away his demonic face! MKA Motaro looks horrible, and Im not even counting the legs.

I'd say that Stryker, Shinnok, and Rain had the best makeovers. I liked the more militaristic look that Stryker's costumes had, and I'm actually quite fond of his S.W.A.T. costume. Shinnok looks much better with an improved-looking face and an awesome alternate that was supposed to and should've been his primary costume. Then there's Rain, who has a rather regal look to him, which is nice.

hey Karate, I'm talking about the characyers that weren't on MKDA or MKD, in other words, the characters that werent in full 3-D.

My vote for best makeover would go to Rain (primary & alt), Jarek (primary & alt), Shinnok (alt), and Sheeva (primary).

The good:

Stryker has a great makeover, his new costumes are way better than what he had. He didn't really get any new moves besides the tazer though. He seems like a character of impulsiveness, and he reminds me of Raiden in a way that he can't trust eithers to punish evil and wants to take care of them on his own accord.

I think Jarek's new look is way better than his old looks as well. He even got his own moves this time.

Meat's new look and personality is great, and his weapons and special moves fit him well.

Rain's new looks are nice, and signify elegance and nobility, which fit him well being a half-god. Nice special moves too, but I miss the water bubble and super roundhouse.

Sektor's primary look is kinda bland, but I love the sleek look of his alt costume. The dual pulse blades are nice too. His story has gained a lot of depth: the Tekuning, his capture of Jax, and his new conflicts with Taven and Sonya.

Shinnok's new looks are great, and he has great new moves too. I also like his weapon. His story seems to have improved, he seems like the main villain behind the scenes that's fooling everyone.

Fujin's new look is pretty nice IMO, but I don't like his alternate costume. His story has some potential, he should replace Raiden as the new defender of Earthrealm. I wish they would have gave Fujin the Wind Staff weapon like you can see in early videos of MKA footage and let Reiko keep the Devastator, this would have improved both characters.

Sareena's new look is nice and sexy, along with her MKDA:TE alternate. Her story seems good too, as she's struggling between being good or evil. I despise her MKA brokeness though.


The bad:

Reiko's main look is kinda dumb IMO. I still think he looks a lot better in his alternate MK4 costume. His special moves are allright, nothing we haven't seen before. No word on his bio yet, but he still seems to have an obsession with Shao Kahn.

As much as I like Kai, he really hasn't improved much. His main costume looks allright, as good as his MK4 one I'd say. I don't know if Midway doesn't like Kai or something, or if it's just bad balancing, but they always make his moves suck. He was the weakest character in MK4, and one of the weakest in MKA. I wish he had his hand stand moves in MKA, or a style like Capoeria.

Chameleon's design is pretty awesome...but he still stole the other ninjas's moves.

Khameleon is worse than Chameleon because she just stole Chameleon's MKA look. XP

Sheeva's new look is ok I guess, and they just gave her MK3 look for her alternate. Her moves are the same too. I hope her bio is good, I want to see how she came back after supposedly being killed by Kahn, and if she still has any rivalries with anyone like Motaro.

Kintaro's new look doesn't look that different from his old look. They gave him a new move, which is nice. He still just seems like big bloodthirsty beast though with no good story yet, so I hope his bio is something good.

Motaro...he's missing his legs. Nuff said.

Worst : Motaro, Kai, Reiko.

Definitely Shinnok, costume 2... I think he looks fantastic in a robe, it expresses his power and strength. Now he looks more like a sorcerer.

Jax, Reptile, Shinnok, Noob, and Blaze had the best looks, from the transition from 2D classics(mk:4 too) to mk:Armageddon.
Jax- Finally lost the fruity purple pants and gets into some real military gear.
Reptile- The mk:SM look was a great idea to run with.
Shinnok- What else is there to say? Shinnok looks ten times better.
Noob- I like how he looks pure black, like how it was ment to be.
Blaze- Finally fits the title as the ultimate boss. Blaze had a huge change!

Fujin's hair is great, and I like the style and subtlety of his teal-and-maroon color scheme. They built a goofy-looking chara into a strong one without changing him into someone completely different; he's the winner in my book.

Jareks alt suited him well
Shinnoks updated primary made him looked more muscular than his old MK4 costume. His alt made him look pure evil
