Well, as a consumer I have the right to complain, seeing as it's my 50 or 60 hard earned dollars going into this game. Is it too much to ask that people actually wanna put their money into a quality product? With my current predicament of getting constant fines out the ass and having to pay off a car, i can only afford to go out and buy video games very rarely, seeing as i've choose this one as one of the 2 or so games i get this year, i think i'm allowed to complain

So I c where u comin from, but at the same time, its a Mortal Kombat message board, its ment to discuss everything MK, whether its good or bad.
When the new movie comes out, if its the worse thing ever made, are we just suppose to not talk about it like it never happened? Its a discussion board., you cant really have a discussion if everyone has the same views.

Ok.To get back on topic here.I like the way Kira and Ashrah are looking.They seem to be some interesting fighters.I don't judge a character by their fatality and fighting wise they look outstanding.I actually like this line of story with Kira.She learns Kanos moves since he was the big wig in the BD and obviously she looked up to him.She also learns Sonyas moves out of the pure hatred and obsession she has with her.I like where that story is going.It kind of holds true to life in certain aspects.

There should be a whole new forum listing called MK: Komplaints. They should go there and not in discussion because complaints lead to arguments and arguments are not discussions. Needless to say it will be the most active board if it was made.

So basically i should just say everything is perfect like everyone else. Don't these people realize that if everything in this game was perfect, there would be no need for a sequel. A sequels main job is to surpass it's predecessor and give it the things that the afore one didn't have....but apparantly this game is perfect. I hope you people are happy, you'll show how mortal Mortal Kombat really is.

I think any new character who isn't a clone is a a step in the right direction.

I dont have a problem with the new fighters i have a problem with the returning bo. This game doesnt need comic relief and plus he isnt funny one bit its cool that hes a drunk but not cool that he farts.I rather have him be a drug addict he could throw syringes in your eyes.

Who cares about fatalities. For the love of Pete, her moves and story seem great... isn't that whats important? Honestly, how many of you are buying this game for fatalities? I coudl care less about them. Its the story and fun factor that I buy MK for. But I do agree with you that Kira is a dissapointment in terms of her moves. I can maybe stand her having some of kanos since she is black dragon like he was.... but having the kiss of death move? Come on Boon.... some originality would be nice.

I disagree with the guy who sees Jade as a pointless character. That doesn't mean I'm going to insult him personally. Oh well, I'll end that rant. Anyways, here's hoping MK:D rocks! 25 days left!

I have to agree with you, but my views on those two new characters are a little different. I was really looking forward to Kira, hence my sig banner, but I am disappointed she is basically a hybrid of Kano & Sonya's moves. I don't see how it has to do with her character at all.. Also, come ON, she has Sonya's pixie dust, too? For some reason I thought Kira would be a bit too vicious for that move.. and they kept it the same colour! They could have at least made it red or something. I love both fighters' move sets, though.. so that one move aside, I think I'll still use her a lot. [but if she suddenly has the leg grab I'll scream. ]
Ashrah is an amazing, amazing concept, it's definitely unique to this game entirely. However, her look is too soft for someone who is supposed to be turning good. Why couldn't they have had her default costume all black, minus that Raidenesque hat and kept the alternate as is, to symbolize her accomplishment? Sometimes I wonder if I should be on their costume designing team. Men. Bah.
and LMAO at Stryker looking like Joey from Full House! Omg, I always thought he resembled Al Bundy myself. xD

Wow, I need to get my facts straight.

Ashrah is going to be my new fav character but Kira seems okay. But if you don't like the direction MK is going then don't play the fucking game okay because there are alot of people here who actually like or will come close to likeing Ashrah and or Kira
