I didn't see anyone else post this but that first code ; the secone post on this thread for Kode 5....031719269013. This is the UPC bar code on the back of the game case of MKD. They must be pulling number off of random things and converitng them to a code.

yup, according to these hints, definitely sounds like each character on the select screen might double as another one. that would be INsane. wow, now its just a matter of finding out how to get them. the hints are cool, but how would we discover codes to go along with them??

I think the grandmaster code is referring to shao kahn, cuz he is the top boss in the second mortal kombat. I dont know just a thought.

might be a little off topic but, we have been booned by brady games. they did not update their site with secrets like they said they would on the 19th, which has passed already. its 12:21 AM, 10/20 as i type this... damn liars

This may or may not have anything to do with the super unlockables, but I bought the premium pack for ps2 and on the second disc it has 25 video trading cards for different characters. Among them are Reptile, Jax, Sonya, Kung lao, Goro, Kano, and I believe Sektor. I may or may not have left some out, but when I watched them it seemed that they all had 3d models made for them already and I thought it highly possible that they were all playable in the game somewhere. Otherwise I don't know why they would have chosen these specific characters from the mk universe to put in a trading card for when there are so many others that people like as well.

hey man I don't know how many people actually have the premium pack, and I just thought it might help to get people thinking. Besides, I didn't see it mentioned anywhere on this board, and I thought it might be relevant to figuring out these codes. I'm kinda new here so I don't know what has or hasn't been said.

what exactly does that code do?

Not much

It appears that it gives you the version number (for the lack of a better term) of the game you have.

Mine was 0.098.

Its located in the lower right hand corner of your screen, superimposed over the "Triangle to Exit" button listing.


Nothing of real value.

Someone may come along and figure out that it is the key to all things MK but I doubt it.
